I read the wiki page, how damage is calculated, but still have a couple questions regarding a specific situation of mine.
Let's say an enemy is weak to element A while strong to element B. If a hero attacks that enemy with an ability that deals BOTH element A and element B damage, how exactly is that calculated? I appreciate the help.

Hmm... good question.
I would assume it would work the same way as it would if the enemy was both weak and resistant to the same element (more damage than an enemy that just resists one or both elements, but still way less than 100%), but that's just a guess.
I haven't really done multi-elemental attacks in a while, so that guess is also based on how things used to work when the weak/resist amounts were hardcoded to 200% and 12%. So it could be kind of outdated now that you can set up your own resistance/weakness amounts... and also since you can set them to combine in different ways rather than always using the "old awful formula." Though I'm not sure if that applies to enemies or just to heroes at this point.

Most of the time all the elemental damage multipliers are multiplied together. So if the target takes 200% damage from element A and -50% damage from B (absorbs), in total it takes -100% (is cured). The exception is that the total effect is always to cure if at least one of the elements is absorbed. So -40% from A and -200% from B is -80%.
The equipmental elemental resist merging formula only applies to heroes because enemies don't have equipment.
The "How is damage calculated?" page is quite incomplete. The preview at the bottom of the damage settings menu is the most trustworthy information.
