My entry to the 2012 Ridiculous Games Contest
The process of making a newbie games is pretty enticing to me since it has been a long, long time. So I'm going to try to emulate the process with a simple personal rule set:
-I will only dedicate 1 hour a day to the game. (if that.)
-I cannot write anything down to plan it beyond implementing whatever in the game itself.
-I will upload the result of each 1 hour period to the salad list if anyone wants to follow along. If I give up then the last upload will be my entry- much like all great newbie games, if I give up it will be an unfinished demo sitting around.
-My primary objective with each session will be to make as long of a game as possible.
This isn't an attempt to make another arfenhouse. I want the legit, heartfelt honesty of trying to make a game while fooling around with a bunch of stuff and hoping it all fits together.
