But in all seriousness, I don't see a problem if his/her name or last name means something else. Unless the name is meant to affect something in your story, or in your game, there's no reason to change it to anything else. Besides, how many people would actually know that the name is, "the system for the Romanization of Chinese" outside of linguists? I'll second Meowskivich with an emphatic, "Keep it I say!" as well. Cheers!
Funny enough, it was a British friend of mine who is a linguist enthusiast studying Chinese who brought it up to me..

I guess I'll keep it for the sake of consistency. Thank you!

It's been over a year, and I've slacked off... but I've been back at it again recently. Version 1.2 is almost ready for release, here's what I've done for it so far:

* Improved dialogue, trimming and tweaks
I fixed up mistakes and trimmed a lot of dialogue. Some of the dialogue has been tweaked or re-written to flow better, and the stories in the library have also recieved some tweaks. I think a few of them have gotten more twisted in concept that way

* Improved palettes
I've messed around with the palettes, and I think I've got a few good ones now. One is the default, and I think it's easier to see things with it, another set blends more but you can brighten it (still better than the palettes for 1.1), one is a high contrast which I feel kind of makes the game feel more old-school, and I have a greyscale one just for fun.

* Game tweaks and fixes
A couple of game tweaks and fixes have been made.

* New music and sound effects
Perhaps the part I'm most excited about. There's lots of new music for this version, and some of them fit the game really well, in my opinion. I've also changed a gun sound effect to a real one, and redid my voices in the final dungeon with the big paintings and verses. I'd say they sound very nice now.

I'm going to do some final tweaking and tests, and then I'll release it. Expect 1.3 in the future, which I have planned with extra endings, a new location, extra items and diary entries, and basically the facelift the storyline really needs to be satisfying.

Bloodlust 1.2 is now out. Time to work on the more ambitious, more exciting, more expansive 1.3!

Great, another release!

Do you mean the story would receive a "facelift" in 1.3?

BTW, to reply to an ancient conversation up the thread about New Game+: depending on what you want exactly, the easiest way to do that (start a new game but with a tag set) is to use the import/exportglobals commands. And you can store data that's to be shared between all saved games in one of the hidden save game slots (there are 33 in ttotal).

Yeah. The dialogue just got touched up for 1.2, but the story expansion, new endings, etc. will come in 1.3.

I'll keep that in mind for New Game+... but I think I'll probably not bother with it (though if I give it a go and it ends up working, I might as well).
