Reviews for two of the Live Like the Amish contest games, some hideous artwork, the second part of TheCube's look at horror games, and two good pieces of writing from Gizmog. I hope he considers writing more in the future!

Crap, I downloaded that one at work and forgot about sending it over to my home computer. I'll re-HTML it and get it up in a few minutes.

Edit: All set, sorry about the mix up.

This is so cool I might throw up ;) ... that didn't come out right. My point was that this picture makes me so happy that my digestive system can't handle it.

bloodlust is one of my favorite OHR games to this day. i was also a little disappointed by the endings, but getting there was quite a ride. i actually sent OnlyOneInAll a message awhile back and asked them if they had any plans for a sequel. it's quite possible, but if anything, it will not be on the OHR. :(

ps: in the library, check all of the books. classic horror movie style scares.
Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy... So here's some lunchmeat... Sandwich, maybe?

When I played the Library in Bloodlust, I was at work, after hours. I was the only person in the building, and almost all the lights on the floor were turned off, and a wind-storm was making the warehouse next door creek ominously. I don't usually jump at scary stuff, but I sure did then :)

Bloodlust
OHR Game of the Year, right here. Will it ever be surpassed as the OHR's premier horror game?

Maybe, maybe not, but there's at least one group out here that's fixin' to give it a shot.

I really liked Bloodlust! I thought it was comparable to big budget survival horror games in respect to atmosphere and craziness. I'm the kind of person who jumps at EVERYTHING though so it was hard to get through for me. In fact, part of the reason I chose to do a series on horror games is because I'm so damned jumpy and I need to get over it.

One day, I shall make the horror game that exists in my head. It probably won't be better than Bloodlust though :zombie:

I'm loving your horror retrospective, Cube. I always considered myself an OHR Horror afficionado, but I've never played any of these games. Looking forward to checking 'em out, but the link to Bloodlust goes to the wrong game.

I also really appreciate the hype from Surlaw, but unless I get a lot of 2011 Reviews out of the way I'm not gonna be able to contribute this month.

That's really weird because the game ID in the URL was correct. I reformatted the URL, using the same ID, and it works now. Thanks for catching.
