Maptile Cloning Issue

Post by Meatballsub »

Sometimes after I mark part of a maptile to be cloned and move to the maptile I want to clone it on, the cloned portion and the cursor become misaligned; making it difficult to clone stuff without starting the process over again.

I usually fix this by exiting out of the maptile editor and going back into it. Is this a known issue? Does anyone else have this problem? It can sometimes be pretty annoying, especially when it happens over and over...

EDIT: Here's a picture. Notice how the cursor is way at the top and the cloned portion is at the bottom; making it near impossible to align properly without starting over.

I remember that bug, but I thought it was fixed in Zenzizenzic.

Anyway, there is an easy fix for realigning a cloned area. Just hold the right mouse button down, and move the mouse, and you will move the point by which the cloned area is being "grabbed" by.

Also, if you prefer to do it keyboard-style, hold down ENTER while pressing the arrow keys to do the same realignment

Cool, thanks for the tip! Will save me a lot of going in and out of the editor now. I'm using the latest stable release if you were wondering.
