She could've tripped, for all we know. Let's not jump to the zombie option.

Vire examines the area for evidence of a struggle between the elf and the scorpion.Vire wrote:Gregor! We could not trust him before this brain business, and we will not start trusting him now. And for that matter, there is no reason to trust you, skrikkt. You would be wise to tread carefully in these matters.
Our best option is to cut open Gregor's head and examine his brain.

Upon investigating, Vire notices a lot of footprints. If he had paid more attention that time the local ranger was explaining how to TRACK things he might be able to make since of all this, but instead he just sees a bunch of footprints. Nothing else seems out of the ordinary, besides the brainless elf on the ground of course. (The summoned scorpion "poofed" when it was destroyed, as al summon monsters do.)
Ehaism realizes, after seeing everyone's reaction to his question, no one saw any blood on the dwarf.
Then, a loud rumbling sound comes from outside the cave. The party emerges to see Gregor on the back of the wagon full of supplies, starting to ride away.

( The new initiative rule applies here, and Gregor just went. )

Ehaism will chase the wagon. he will jump on the back of it. As soon as he gets his hands on that dwarf he intents to sword him to within an inch of his life (but not to kill him if possible, because gold)

Ehaism runs up and grabs the wagon as it's moving and manages to climb onboard. He draws his sword and is ready to fight. ( ending his turn. )
Ribbon runs up and tries to jump on to the wagon. Success, she lands on the wagon and manages to strike at the dwarf with her sword. She stabs him in the chest. ( 8 damage )

Initiative:
Ehaism
Ribbon
Kytana
Vire
Gregor
(Ehaism and Ribbon have just gone so it's Kytana and Vire's turn.
Feel free to post your actions out of order.)

Kytana runs after the wagon, and fires her bow. Striking Gregor in the sholder. ( 2 damage )
Vire fires a Scorching Ray at the dwarf but it go whizzing by Gregor's head, missing him.
Then Gregor falls and starts convulsing on the wagon. His head ruptures, and his brains appears to fly out of his head. It goes flying off the wagon and lands in the sand. It's quickly apparent that this is no normal brain.
This apparently disembodied brain moves about on four bestial clawed feet. It's now the size of a dog and moves with frightening alacrity. A glistening, transparent membrane or sheath covers it's horrible body.

How will the party handle this beast?!

Ribbon ponders the irony of being eaten by a zombie brain, then realizes that's not really ironic. Since there's no Soviet Russia in her world, she doesn't know how to think about it.
So she leaps off the cart, and charges her sword with the depths of her optimism, briefly turning it into a Psionic Weapon.
The air crackles with violet energy, as Ribbon hits the brain as hard as she can.

Ehaism rushes at the new foe, with his sword in hand. He swings it wildly at the brain, but the brain's small size and quick movements, cause the lizardman to miss.
Ribbon comes rushing in too. She releases her psionic energy into her attack. But alas, the creature is too quick for her as well.

Will the others have better luck?
