Ribbon evaluates the truthfulness of that last sentence.
Which worked out okay. Anyway, don't worry about the water. We'll find a lake or something. These things have a way of working themselves out.
As the party collected themselves, Ehaism began to pull the wagon. He does a good job too. It tiring work but he's toughing it out. Once out of the canyon, Ehaism stops. The sun is setting now, and Ehaism is sleepy. His wounds now ache, and he's exhausted. Gregor smirks at the exhausted lizardfolk.

We've still got 3 days to go till we reach the hoard. The first wagon can carry all the water we have left which should be plenty for the round trip. I suggest we all carry our own food from now on so the wagon is light enough for one ox.

Ehaism is to exhausted to take issue with Gregor's attitude right now. Right now carrying his own food sounds light as a feather compared to helping the ox drag the wagon.
Vire, ever-wary of the elf, casts Detect Thoughts. He trails the elf to the cave, careful to keep within range of the spell but also to avoid detection.
Vire detects the presence of both Gregor and the elf lady's minds. He detects that Gregors Int score is 14, and the Elf lady's is 12. Gregor's Surface thoughts are all of what he plans to do to the elf lady sexually. He fails to detect the Elf lady's surface thoughts.
Ribbon can't use the healing skill on herself, but tries her best to do so anyways. Ehaism successfully receives healing from Ribbon.

Ehaism may not be medically trained, but he certainly knows a thing or two about wounds, having taken so many of them himself.
He is now slightly annoyed that Vire is not here to pay attention to him too. He climbs up on the wagon to try and get a better look around. He is very careful not to step on the remaining water, because he feels kinda bad about the small part he played in breaking that barrel earlier, even though it was all clearly Vire's fault.
Vire reluctantly enters the cave. His low-light vision is excellent, so he's not concerned about the darkness, but he'd still rather not get caught alone. He stations Liev at the entrance to the cave -- she's not as good in the dark anyway -- and journeys inward. If he can't detect the elf's thoughts, then he can at least surmise what's going on by eavesdropping on Gregor.
Vire remarks to himself that the dwarf is somewhat smarter than his looks indicate.
