I love that none of us stopped to ask :)Twinconclusive wrote:Did the old man actually tell us what explosive we were looking for, or do we go through some town and just find the nearest explosives-dealer :???:
Perhaps we will wander into the nearest village and ask if anybody knows any stories of Legendary Local Explosives

I hope Lao asks the old Man where the heck we are supposed to be searching for this explosive.mjohnson092088 wrote:um my bad, i'm back. i've been busy. can we assume Lao took a figurine and followed the group?
I suspect that Spoonweaver gave us a bear to fight to keep us amused while we were waiting for you ;)

I've never seen something definitively say that the spell grease is or is not flammable. I think that, since not all grease is flammable and the spell a choice of 2 material components, butter which wouldn't really be flammable, and pork rinds, which would make pork grease which is flammable. I'm going to say that IF pork is used as the component then yes the grease will burn like oil. IF butter is used, then it is not.
If you have Eschew Materials you choose which one you want.
If you simply ignored material components you have no choice and not even your character knows which one is being used at the time. Think of it as if you simply bought a bunch of very tiny discount spell sacks. Actually figuring out what's in them is basically impossible because it's all been ground up into dust.
As for the "burnslayer" (I love that it has a name now) igniting the grease, Ehaism would have to do this on purpose. The simple embers that would hit the grease by mistake would not be enough to ignite it.

Which road does the light come from? Fort or may?Spoonweaver wrote:With some of the party lagging behind, Melor, Bacchim, and Ehaism stand on the road deciding where to go.
Then, a light shines in the distance on the road. The source of the light seems to be coming down the road at an incredible speed. The party has only minutes before the source of the light will be upon them.
