Is combat halted? Or are we just expending free actions to talk right now.

I'm not sure who's capable of doing what at the moment.

My Bluff is way better than your Sense Motive, too! Plus, I don't see how it'll help to sense the ogres' motive.

We may need to have a bluff-off once the dust settles.

(edit) any reason you have two copies of Detect Magic?

(edit edit) I doubt it matters, but I hadn't included my +2 to Diplomacy from Bluff synergy

It was a diplomacy check.
And it mattered, I noticed the neglected bonus. People normally forget those.

This might have been a human once. Now it is a bloated horror, distended veins sprawling across it's livid skin. Scraps of rotting cloths are all that cover it's swollen body. It's empty eyes fix on the party and ogres alike, and it lurches forward with swinging fists.
and so, things go from bad to waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse. well, was nice knowin' y'all! hopefully someone will find our bodies and tell our tale. if the giant doesn't eat their faces, too. this is why Lao told Cile not to break any more gems! stupid big-heavy boulders, always falling willy-nilly and breaking gems. at least the ogres seem to sort of be on our side for the time being, as long as we don't make them mad.

i was waiting for Momoka/Ribbon. he/she was up first, but never posted.

oh, and am i blocked off? it seems as though i can't even get close to the giant, what with the big ol' ogres and boulders blocking my path.

Combat WAS halted. The Diplomacy check changed the Ogres from hostile to unfriendly.

You're not really blocked off. Remember, you can move through allied squares. Keep in mind that the Ogres don't count as allies though.

okay, that's what i meant. i wanted to be able to move straight to the giant, but the ogres are in the way, even though they're no longer hostile, for now.

So did I actually cast my light spell even though Ribbon didn't need it? And can I dismiss it? I am a little confused on the light situation here.

You cast it.
In game, I'm going with the "Ribbon had her eyes closed" thing. I think it's awesome.

For the future, you normally don't have to announce that you'd like to try to figure out what the thing is. This time however, I seemed to have overlooked your knowledge religion skill when I was checking everyone's character. I don't know how I missed yours...
Thank you for having me double check, I would have hated to rob you of the info you deserve. Your check yielded quite alot, after all.

it probably doesn't really matter at this point, but i think you forgot to move Vire his five feet northeast.

Will any of these times really shine? Only time will tell.
i like shiny things. :)

EDIT: oh wait, you didn't forget. nevermind.

If I am reading the description of the Haste spell correctly, Ehaism gets to attack twice this round, yes?

Correct.
Also, you're max power attack seems to be 4 at the moment. It's based on your Base Attack Bonus.
