Your thoughts on the E3 Press Conferences

It looks like the new Paper Mario is harkening back to the style of the first one, which is a tremendous joy for me. The first was my favorite, ignoring the sprites' wonky animations.
Super Paper Mario? Meh. I've actually replayed it several times, but that was just because I was recording the soundtrack since I couldn't find a torrent of it. The woooooooooooooooooords were the worst part. Don't get me wrong, the love story was neato and we'll probably never see anything like it again, but then there's blabbermouths like [s]Merlon[/s] everyone not named Mario.
Ooh, fun thing. One time I played through Shadow Dragon and immediately changed everyone's classes at random. It went surprisingly well; some of my best units were [s]Shiida[/s] Caeda as an Archer and Norne as a Mage.

I also want a 3DS now, and the majority of Nintendo's conference excited me, even when Zelda didn't work and they thought a "New Goldeneye!" not made by Rare was something people cared about.
Which is funny, because I don't own a Wii and don't plan on it, and the 3DS isn't out yet, but I still liked Nintendo's the most. It was like..."look, we have all these franchises you thought we forgot about. Well, we didn't. HAVE SOME GAMES!"
Microsoft's was terrible. Devoting most of the conference to EyeToy 2.0. Nobody cares about that thing, seriously.
Sony's was...well, Sony. They talk SO MUCH at their conferences about how cool they are, every freaking year. I dunno, maybe everybody else talks that much, but at least they are talking about games, not sales or 3D or using "innovative" over and over.
I did like how Microsoft kept calling Kinect a "Revolutionary and Magical" product, which is the exact same tag Apple uses/used for the iPad. As an Apple fanboy, I got a chuckle out of that. Seriously, the Kinect isn't "Magical."
The biggest surprises is how many games I cared about weren't mentioned at conferences. The Last Guardian wasn't there. Pixeljunk Shooter 2 was on the floor, but that was it. MS didn't even mention their new Summer of Arcade lineup, which looks completely rad.
Not that great an E3 this year, except Nintendo, to be honest. And even then I can't get TOO excited as I don't have a Wii, but...still good watchin.

Luigi is almost as sexy as me!
There was a new Star Fox game announced at E3 and NO ONE TOLD ME.
It's a remake of Star Fox 64 for the 3DS, and it looks like they're giving it a graphic overhaul. The only screenshot I've seen is the remastered Corneria level, but the graphics (and controls, I assume) are the only things that have changed.
It may end up being nothing more than plain ol' Star Fox 64. No gimmicks, no add-ons, no downloadable extras, no new characters, no new gameplay...
AWESOME!

So... I didn't really think Kid Icarus looked that fun. I know, insta-hate on me. Whatever. It looks like it's doing way too many things.
The two games I think I think I will definitely get this year will be Epic Mickey and Donkey Kong Country Returns. DKCR looks like an insane amount of fun. And geeze, it looks awesome in motion! Very glad that King K. Rool isn't back either, the villain is some weird tiki-dude.
