All the Games by Barnabus
6/10 - Even though most of these games were crap, there were a few really funny gems in there (Fear, EZ Art Tutor) and the way they meshed together as a whole and were tied together in "Friends" was pretty cool.
Automagically! Bizzaro Carnival in Salad Kingdom by Spoonweaver
6/10 - Not a bad little platformer, but didn't have a lot to make it special. Needed more vegetables. I think it is cool that shooting down gives you a small jump boost, but I played all the way until the end without discovering that. I only know about it because it somebody mentioned it.
Danse Danse Whale: Total War by Blue Train, J_Taylor, Momoka, Spoonweaver
5/10 I got a kick out of some of the dialog, especially the hillbilly. (who would have made a good playable ally) and I liked the whale song at the end. Unfortunately the rest was a bit mish-mashey. I also wasted a lot of time walking around in the zombie area failing to locate the tower in the center. I don't know why I had a hard time finding it, but I would have just given up assuming the game was unfinished, had I not read on the forums where people mentioned beating it.
Duck by JSH357
8/10 - Very well presented. Maybe I'll do a let's-play of this one one of these days, if nobody beats me to it. The dialog all seemed like it would be fun to read out loud.
Field of Dwarves and Endless Dreams by Twinconclusive
7/10 - I got killed fast the first few times I tried this one, and I never did beat it, but I did get as far as the Earth Guardian. I think the concept was pretty cool, and I liked that even though it was the standard OHR battle system, it forced me to play differently than in other games. I sort of felt like this game was "Crystal Chasers" sweded. Also, the onomatopoeia sound effects repeatedly brought a smile to my face.
Meh. by Fenrir-Lunaris
7/10 - Funny stuff, just sad there wasn't much variety to it. (<a href="http://superwalrusland.com/ohr/issue37/ ... html">full review</a>)
Mr. The Hamster's Math Class by James Paige
9/10 - I am proud of what I accomplished here. I haven't had a chance to try it out on a real third-grader yet, but I am looking forward to doing so.
Puckamon by FnrrfYgmSchnish
7/10 - Nice looking, nostalgic parody. I haven't played Pokemon since the original, so this is pretty much how I remember it. The pp bonus after every hit was interesting. To be honest I haven't completed this one yet, so there is a chance I might revise my score before the deadline, but what I did see so far amused me. This game makes me want to add engine features to make pokemon-style monster-collecting easier. Also, what the hell is up with the swasticave? I mean really!
Yo Ghost RGC Edition by Sh4d0ws
5/10 - I haven't quite finished this one either, so again, my grade has a chance of being revised before the deadline, but for all the disparagement heaped upon Yo Ghost, it didn't seem so bad. Kudos on the graphics, which are all nice. Also, <a href="">bug 835</a>

All the games 9: Very happy to be so well received (I just figured if I made enough games I'd get better!), but I regret not making the secret endings more obvious- no one seems to have found them yet.
Automagically! 10: I had no idea you could make such a smooth platformer, so much better than my attempts!
Danse Danse 8: The song was great, that must have taken guts to record!
Duck 10: Finding all the endings was really fun, what a great follow up to OHR House!
Field of Dwarves 8: Loved the idea but it's so hard.
Meh 9: I wish my job was this exciting.
Mr. The Hamster's Math Class 10: My little sister loves Mr. The Hamster.
Puckamon 9: Ah, your subtle usage of green to evoke nostalgia..!
Yo ghost 6: Looks great, don't give up!

Why thank you, If you liked this one, I'd suggest playing Tim-Tim "The Mgihty Gnome". I'm told it's the better of my sidescrollers.Barnabus wrote: Automagically! 10: I had no idea you could make such a smooth platformer, so much better than my attempts!
Guts of steel, my friend. Guts of steel!Barnabus wrote: Danse Danse 8: The song was great, that must have taken guts to record!
Or, heck, the SS101 series in Hamsterspeak, which I'm pretty sure served as the basis for both games. You too can make your own sidescroller!Spoonweaver wrote:Why thank you, If you liked this one, I'd suggest playing Tim-Tim "The Mgihty Gnome".
