I'm not in the habit of deleting legitimate threads as that would be a disservice to the other contributors in the thread. Moreover, I'm really confused why all the drama. Either upload your game or don't; I can guarantee you that if you don't raise all holy slime about your game then no one else will go out of his way to bug you about it either.

This whole thread is completely retarded now... Could a mod lock this one so no one can continue making this guy look an even bigger five year old?
I'm pretty sure we all tried to be nice to him and explain why this happened, but he kept taking it the wrong way.

Let me ask you this Fieron...
If you know your game is crap, then why are you taking such offensive when someone else says so? YOU are the one who uploaded your game saying how it is crap. Surlaw came along and confirmed it. So WHY do you get so offended? Are you the only one who is allowed to say the game is crap?
For that matter, how old are you dude? Seriously? You created Catman and Nova, right? I am nineteen right now. I was about ten or eleven when I played Nova. That was eight or nine years ago. What I'm saying is you must be around my age at least or older... and yet you're posting and acting like you're... some little kid. So with that information in the light, how old ARE you?
Because you really need to grow up and get over yourself man..

Mogri already gave a legitimate and good reason as to why he's not going to close this one down, and besides that would give Fieron what he wants. I haven't seen anybody throwing a tantrum here besides him so far, and it hasn't strayed from its original topic, so I think it's fine as it is.
EDIT: Oh, and Fieron? It's kinda petty that you'd vote my games one star because I have also somehow offended you, but thanks. I guess it just shows even more how easily you are offended and that you take things too personally.

Hello, all. I made SoupMan. :D
When I did, I wanted to convey a message: If you make a game that's intentionally bad, it's going to be...bad. The OHR community seems to have directed its attention toward producing crap, non-game games instead of trying to maximize the capabilities of the engine. SoupMan, (and to a lesser extent "The Darkest Planet," which also targets horrible political satire,) was a play on this trend.
Unfortunately, only a few people got the joke, which was that there was no joke. "Newbie games" have not been an interesting or enjoyable concept since the original Arfenhouse was posted to RPG Online years ago. To be as direct as possible: Please, everyone, let's all stop making them.
SoupMan will return, however, in my next project: a custom, tile & npc based Xenogears style battle system, using rows of npcs to create large animated sprites. If I can make it work out, it should be something interesting and playable, which is what I wish this community would produce more of.
Carry on, all.

I came to that conclusion based upon what I had (randomly) skimmed through and downloaded through the archives at CP, though according to that list, I barely scratched the surface of what was released recently. Thanks; I'll check some of these out.
