From the dagger's reaction, Lynda can tell this pool is clearly full of acid.

"Lovely..." Lynda says.

She goes back out to the main room.

"I found another Silver Key, but it's in a pool of acid." She says.

She then enters the north western room.

Rachelle takes a deep breath. She's never jumped this far in her entire life, but she needs to now. She gets a running start and leaps off inches from the first tile. She spins as she's in the air, propeling her body further. She touches down on the other side of the tiles with remarkable grace that surprises even her. She just pulled off a feat that would be talked about for ages.

...and no one was around to see it.

Lynda finds the demon room as described earlier.

The demon is crying in the middle of the circle.

"Oh my." Lynda thinks. "This is interesting." She stays in the doorway warily. She doesn't trust whatever this creature is, and she certainly does not want to get close.

"...Uh, excuse me? Who are you, and why are you bound in that circle?" Lynda asks politely.

"My name is Susan Clover. I was transformed into a demon by my crazy family and imprisoned in this circle. Will you help me escape? I'm not sure how I can repay you, but I'll do my best to try," says the demon.

Kalar wanders around the area with his ghoul.

Now where did that woman get to?

While searching, he checks the ghoul pit room in case he meets John on his way back.

"A Clover, by chance?" Lynda thinks, with interest. "I don't quite trust this, because demons are tricky ones. However, let's see what I can get out of her while she's imprisoned."

"You're one of the clovers? How interesting. I've met a few more of you're family members on my way here." She says. "Why would they ever transform one of their own kin into what I see before me?"

"You don't trust me, do you?" the demon says to Lynda. "I'm not sure why they did this to me. How can I get you to trust me? I'll do anything!"

Kalar comes to the ghoul hole and hears a clattering from within. When he looks, he sees his ghoul slowing climbing the wall, hold a good deal of items while doing so. He looks like he's having trouble.

Kalar moves in to help John, mentally commanding Kretivuslar to do the same. He looks over what John brought back.

Kalar reaches down to try to help John but can't quite reach him yet, he's still got a couple feet to go, before that. Kretivuslar climbs down to help and almost falls int he process. John drops something that looks nice and shiny down the hole. Finally, Kalar gets both his ghouls back up. John has brought back a thousand gold, a rapier, a warhammer, a gauntlet, and 2 daggers.

"Excellent work you two!"

Kalar takes the gold and places it in one of his pouches. The two daggers, he slips through his belt. As for the gauntlet, rapier, and warhammer, he asks the two ghouls to carry them for the time being.

"I saw that one item fell, any idea what it was, John?"

Lynda sighs. She wants to believe what the demon says, but at the same time, she remains skeptical. She has seen some crazy things, like an ogre claiming to be a woman, a lion man, crazy undead women, and giant maniacal sorcerers. However, this demon is trapped, and it could be just as easy to lie to try and get free. It's willingly talking, however, so that's a plus. The truth to it's words, however, are debatable.

"I want to believe you, sweetheart, I really do." Lynda says sympathetically. "But why would you ever want to be let out? Trust me dear, it's much safer in there than what it is out here."

"I'll have to consult with my party members before I do anything hasty, however. I must bid you adieu, for now."

Lynda then heads back out the main room.

"I found a demon claiming to be one of the Clovers. It wants to be let out, but I don't exactly trust it. We'll have to ask Charles about her to see if her claims have some verity in them."

John shrugs. "I don't know, some sort of statue or something? There was some other stuff down there, along with 2 times as much gold left."

Hmm... Considering that some of the others aren't very well armed, more equipment would be useful.

"Could you two head down and grab some more of the equipment? No need to bother much with the gold though, not much need for it here. Thank you."

Granted, Kalar doesn't need to be polite seeing as how they're under his control, but it always pays to not be rude.
