After finishing two and a half pages of writing in her hasty shorthand, Tammytharn puts her pen and paper away.
She fishes in her bag for her signal whistle.
"Let's see if THIS wakes him" she says to herself, and blows it near Thistlewhistle's ear.

Kalar's head turns up at the sound of the sharp whistle. Now what could that be? He decides to worry about it later, there's enough to deal with right now with the potentially trapped chest.

Rachelle, hearing the whistle and ignoring Gontort, rushes into the main room.
"What's going on here?" she asks.

Much to her surprise Lynda snaps the safe open with ease. Upon inspection it seems the hinges were corroded. Inside the safe, Lynda finds 50 crystal vials of
powdered gold and platinum, 8 onyxes, 2 emeralds, 10 large diamonds and 2 tiny, human-shaped figurines carved from gold-inlaid black onyx.
Gontort follows the sound and Rachelle into the lab. "Thistlewhistle!" Gonrtort runs over to the table. Thistlewhistle remains asleep as Gontort looks him over. "What has happened to him?" He looks at Tammytharn waiting for an answer.

"Ooh!" Lynda thinks to herself.
She takes half of the diamonds, ten vials of the powdered minerals, one emerald, and the two figurines. She'd like to take some of the onyxes, but she noticed Kalar collecting them, so she figures she'd leave them and the rest to Kalar.
She turns to Kalar, and gestures to the remainder of the items.

Tammytharn seems nonplussed to see Gontort. She doesn't like him. They had some extremely frustrating conversations about pacifism earlier in their travels. Gontort couldn't get it through his thick skull that pacifism was anything other than a very clever way to launch a sneak attack, and she is pretty sure he still thinks she is a Rogue, not a Cleric.
To Rachelle, Tammytharn apologises for the whistle. "I was just testing how deep his sleep is."
To Gontort, she says "Thistlewhistle is asleep. Leave him ALONE for now PLEASE." She says the last part with extra emphasis, because she doesn't want Gontort to pick up Thistlewhistle and start shaking him.
"It is good too see you are well." she adds, with all the insincerity that she can muster.

"Asleep? This is no time for sleep. Wake up Thistlewhistle!" Gontort yells the last part. Then it seems to click with him. "Oh! I was asleep like that too wasn't I?!" A look of enlightenment fills Gontorts face. He nods as he stares at Thistlewhistle.

Kalar takes the remaining gems from the safe.
That done, he nods to Lynda that he's done.
"So, my dear, shall we see that last individual in the cells?"

Lynda nods approvingly.

Kalar leads the way to the bull-man. He gestures to Galse for him to follow them. He's slightly concerned that the dwarf left, he might have been better in a scrap than Galse. Not for any ability or lack thereof, but he would much rather throw Gontort into the fray than Galse, as the latter has been far more reliable thus far and he would hate to lose such an asset.
Kalar arrives at the cells and surveys the gore from the previous encounter. Later, he'll search the body for anything useful. For now though, he makes himself known to the bull-man.

The large man with the head of a bull does not respond, but instead stares at the door to the cell, stamping his foot as he does.

Kalar frowns at this. Perhaps the being is not intelligent?
"Greetings, my fine bovine friend. I am Kalar Kess, medic and healer. Might I know your name, good sir?"

Lynda slowly moves to the side, away from the cell door. She cautiously watches the bull man.

Something about Gontort's words strike Tammytharn.
"So you were in the same kind of sleep... HOW did YOU wake yourself up?" She asks.

The bull-head-man doesn't respond to Kalar or Lynda.
Rachelle looked around the room. Having come Tammytharn's false alarm, she lost track of what she was doing before.
Gontort looks at Tammytharn as she asks him. He seems to have lost interest in Thistlewhistle at this point and is now wandering around the room looking at things. "I don't know, I just did, same way I do every day. What's in here?" Gontort points to the door across the lab going west.
Meanwhile, Thistlewhistle has climbed a tree to escape the giant clover covered bull. It circled the tree keeping it's eyes on him. Then the tree came to life and toss Thistlewhistle out. He slammed against the bull and the clovers scattered. The bull stood there, now no longer covered in clovers but instead made of what looked like amber. Thistlewhistle looked down at the artifact in his hands. It had taking the shape of a castle. A mist surrounded the artifact. Thistlewhistle's focus was jolted away from the artifact then as the bull ran forward. Thistlewhistle was now riding the bull, not sure where it was heading.
Thistlewhistle thought to himself, I still need to choose whether to burn this thing or freeze it.
