Lynda snatches one of the cloaked robes. It instantly goes limp in her hand. Nothing else seems to happen.

"Excellent!" Lynda says. She decides to keep it for herself; there's no telling when fine fabric might be useful.

With her curiosity sated, she decides to go back to the storeroom. She rummages around, and decides to take one of the scarves to wear. She also decides to wear one of the extra necklaces she has on her. She's resolved that she might as well play up her fancy facade to the limit.

She then looks back at the holes.

"Stand back. I have a crazy idea..." She says. She takes out her bow, and then fires an arrow up one of the holes, ready to duck out of the way if something unpleasant were to come down out of it.

Lynda fires off an arrow before Rachelle has a chance to fully escape the room. Lynda backs up just as a gush of water comes flowing out of the hole. Rachelle only gets a bit damp, but Lynda gets totally splashed. Nothing else seems to happen.

"Ah!" Lynda shrieks as she's splashed with water. Her hairs soaking wet, her bandages are dampened, some of her dress is soaked...she's not pleased.

She takes more of the scarves and attempts to dry off, and preserve whatever dignity she had beforehand.

"Well...that solves that, I guess." Lynda says to Rachelle. Before she leaves, Lynda takes the vials of water, bandages, and an extra scarf. The group needs as much supplies as it can get its hands on.

"You should grab some supplies too, Rachelle. You never know what you might need in the future." She says to Rachelle.

She goes out and looks around the dining room.

The dining room stands completely bare aside from the table and 4 chairs. Kalar is also in there checking over his newly acquired undead.

"Kalar." Lynda says, determined. "We've picked this chapel clean. There's no sense in staying any longer, really. I think we should head out. According to Charles, we've got items we need to collect. We've got to make a decision as a group on where we're gonna head out next."

Lynda then goes to the other group members and asks of them of the same thing. If anything, there's no sense on going out on tangents. The entire group needs to pursue one goal together, to ensure that they'll survive whatever Castle Clover has to throw at them.

Glad to be away from the spider holes, Kalar regroups with the others.

"Right lads, I'm not entirely sure this place has anything else worth taking. Best we move on. Looks to me that we have two choices. The first is that we head back to where the lion-man was, and explore the rooms there that we haven't in search of more of these silver keys. If there's a 'Gate of the Silver Keys', then even if we collect these items, we won't be able to open it without all of these keys.

"Alternatively, we could keep going forward and hope that we didn't miss one of the keys. Chances are fairly good, in my opinion, that we'll at least find something that can help us down the road if we keep going."

Kalar pauses for a while and thinks.

"Well, there's a third option, I suppose, and that's to go down that trap door. But as deep as it goes, and without any knowledge of what's down there, it could very well be a trap. The other two options, we can always leg it back here. But down that pit, it'll be hard to flee while going single-file up a ladder.

I'll leave the choice to our scout here," he says as he gestures to Lynda. "She'll be taking point, so she should at least get a say."

Of course, Kalar says this not entirely out of concern for Lynda, but more in a ploy to get on her good side, considering how often he's been sending her (and how often he plans to) into danger.

This is when Tammy explains where she was and what she saw down the hole. She seems to want to go back down there now that she has reunited with some others and help the ones that were sleeping down there.

"Hmm, that does indeed sound grave. We may be able to find more of the original caravan, and that might be worth the risk."

That, and it means more fleshy bodies between himself and the pointy end of danger.

"As much as I hate to say it, especially because retreat will be difficult, I vote that we go down the hole. That alchemical laboratory intrigues me. We might be able to find a few medical items there that will definitely be of use later on. And if we do wind up going back to face that lion-man, I'd like to be as prepared with as much healing as possible."

The party gathers around the hole down to what Tammy has described as a dangerous lab. The party seems hesitant to go down.

Before heading down, Kalar takes one of his javelins and imbues it with holy light. He then takes it, and drives the point down into the shoulder of his last remaining zombie, so that while the zombie stands, there's an upright javelin-sized light source centered on it.

He looks at the others, and preempts them by saying, "What? It's dead already. Might as well put it to good use. And I'm sure the rest of you would rather have a hold on your weapons rather than holding a torch down there."

He then sends his zombies and skeletons on ahead, ready to intercept anything hostile.

The javelin seems to do a lot of damage tot he zombie. but it continues walk around and obeying orders. It's the first one to the ladder and begins climbing down. It doesn't do a very good job though and falls. The light on it's shoulder allows the party to watch as it falls the 10' to the floor and smash on the ground. The skeletons follow after it doing much better with the ladder. They make it to the ground while Kalar questions his decision to stab his zombie and send it down a shaft. They don't seem to notice any danger.

Kalar shrugs once he sees the remains of his zombie. He picks up the javelin, and slips it through the ribcage of one of his skeletons. He then takes some linen from his pack and ties it in place.

With that done, he orders the bright skeleton (henceforth named "Dave") to walk on ahead so that they can see around the area.

The party all reluctantly followed Kalar down the hole. Dave lead the way and came upon an opened door. Tammy pointed out where the trigger had been that slammed the door shut and the party all managed to avoid it. Inside the room they saw the sleeping rolls belonging the the paprty members Tammy described tossed around the room. The party members them selves were no where to be been. The party hesitates to walk in.

"Rachelle, this is the room you came from? You said that there was some sort of black cloud there? If that's the case, I'd rather not risk any of us going in there just yet, at least not until we're sure we can escape that black cloud. Do you remember anything else about the room that might have been useful?"
