Kalar looks around. He debates whether or not to try to snag one of the robes. It might be enchanted with something they might be able to use. At the very least, he would be able to cut it up to use as bandages. Then again, it might not be wise to anger anything or anyone that might be controlling them.

The adventurers transverse the chapel, avoiding the room where Madeline's corpse lays, and come to a set of two doors. One leading to the room Lynda mentioned, another leading to yet another room. A quick peek inside the room Lynda mentioned revealed a dining room with skeletons sitting in the chairs around the table. They turn to look at the party as they peek in but make no other movements.

"Skeletons... Even more undead."
Kalar considers attempting to rebuke them, hopefully bringing even more minions under his control. To be on the safe side though, he orders his zombies to position themselves in front of the door, ready to intercept anything.
"Right lads, there are more undead here. Lynda, get ready to attack anything that gets past the zombies. I doubt your bow will be of any use, but perhaps you might be able to do something with that snake?"
He turns to Galse. "I'd like you to keep back, make sure you protect our rations." Kalar hopes this will put him more on Galse's good side, what with appealing to his nature and whatnot. "If anything does get through though, that sap should do wonders."
Next, he faces Rachelle. "Rachelle, if I recall correctly, you were a soldier or a warrior of some sort? I hope you can use that halberd well, so just go crazy on anything that attacks."
Lastly, he speaks to the gnome. "Thistlewhistle... er... just, do something... useful? I guess?"
With that, he readies his tower shield, prepared to hide behind it should anything come flying out the door. He then presents his holy symbol and channels energy through it, trying to take control of as many as he can while putting the fear of Kalar into the rest of them.

Meanwhile, on another plane of existence, Vecna, God Of Secrets reviews the incoming stream of souls from his freshly departed worshipers.
Vecna pauses in consternation when he gets to Silas's soul.
"What is this?" Asks the dark god. "Why did he think that would impress me? What a sorry show!"
Vecna does enjoy a good human sacrifice every now and then, but slitting some poor woman's throat while she sleeps? And then botching it so badly? Vecna may be an EVIL god, but he likes to think he is an evil god with some CLASS!
Vecna casts Silas's soul into The Abyss Where There Are No Answers with a disappointed sigh, and moves on to the next soul.

(Rebuking success)
Of the five skeletons in the room, two get up, seeming to await Kalar's command. The another two sit in awe of Kalar.
The last one makes no move at all. This skeleton seems unlike the rest. It is bigger and it's bones seem thicker. Upon further inspection everyone notices this skeleton is wearing a key around it's neck, not unlike the silver key in Galse's pack.

"That can't be good... But we need that key."
Kalar orders his two new skeletons to head for the one that was not affected by his divine abilities. He also orders his two zombies in. Once they have surrounded the strange skeleton, they will swarm around it to bear it to the ground and then proceed to beat it to death.
Kalar will, of course, stay well back and out of the way.

Kalar's undead swarm the bigger skeleton. It doesn't make a move against them until they attack. Then it launches into action. It smashes one of the other skeletons into pieces. The other three undead pelt it with blows. The larger undead manages to smash one of the zombies before it is completely destroyed by Kalar's minions.
The zombie retrieves the key for Kalar and brings it to him.
1 Skeleton and 1 Zombie are destroyed.

Rachelle walked into the room, stepping around pieces of bone as she did so. "Good thing we didn't have to deal with that ourselves", she thought, holding a halberd that she realized was probably not going to be so great against anything that didn't really mind a missing limb.
If there's any other doors leading out of the dining room, Rachelle will peek into them. If not, she'll head back.

Kalar pats the zombie on the head, "Who's a good abomination against nature? Is it you? Yes you are!"
He then passes the key to Galse, so that he can keep track of them.
Kalar considers the remaining skeletons, it would probably be a good idea to have as many as possible. Then again, might be better to save his powers for later. Still...
Having made up his mind, he raises his holy symbol again to take control of more skeletons to replace the two undead he lost.

Rachele goes over and peeks into the door across the room. This room appears to be a storage area for typical clerical items. Rachele notices four holes in the ceiling. The holes are one foot in diameter and stretch far into the ceiling.

Spiders. Yeah, definitely spiders up there. They always tend to hide in deep dark holes, where you can't see them until they drop onto your face.
Kalar wills his skeletons and last remaining zombie into the room and orders them to watch over Rachelle. She can poke around as much as she wants, but Kalar is getting the crap out of that room before some eight-legged freaks show up. He'll instead stay just outside the door, preferably behind his shield on the off-chance that whatever's in those holes (spiders, definitely spiders) gets past both Rachelle and his minions.
*And his arachnophobia kicks in again!

The rooms has several large open boxes that seem to be full of candelabras, metal cups, scarves, candles, vials of water, bandages, and stale rations.
The holes in the ceiling seem to go up about 6ft and end with what seems to be a cloth.
Meanwhile, on another plane of existence, Vecna, God Of Secrets gives Silas a second thought. Where had he come from? A secret castle trapped in a secret place. Vecna decided to look into this place further.

Rachelle heads into the storeroom, clambers onto one of the boxes, and taps the side of one of the holes with her halberd, staying as far to the side of it as she can.

She had been hired to treat the wounded during a mission to a far away city. She didn't know nearly enough about the trip to have rightly chosen to go, but she was on her own and it was this or farm work. The people she was traveling with seemed dubious at best. They weren't all bad though and she began to like some of them. She mostly stayed to herself.
Tammytharn was a Rao cleric and had strong feelings about her morals. The different beliefs of all these people were almost too much. Her even heard mention that someone in the group might worship Vecna.
She woke up in a large room is outfitted as a complete alchemistry laboratory with long wooden tables and myriad wood shelves filled with strange flasks and glassware: alembics, calcinators, sublimators, athanors, retorts and distillation apparatus. She was surrounded by her sleeping party members, but was confused to find herself in a lab instead of a cave. There were only 4 other people around her even though there were dozens before. Along the sides of the room concealed vents opened and began to fill the room with a black
powdery cloud which moved as though it was alive. Tammytharn tried to wake the others, but they refused to wake. She ran out the door and triped a switch. The door behind her slammed shut.
She was now in a dark corridor. There was only one other way to go. It lead to a ladder which lead to a room at the top with lights on. She considered going back rather than climbing the very tall ladder for a while, but decided to climb after all. She entered the chapel where she saw now mostly melted ice chucks scattered around and a broken wall.
Then she heard the party talking. She followed that sound until she saw Lynda standing in the hallway.
MEANWHILE, Rachelle shoved her halberd slightly into the hole and smacked the side. The sides seem like solid stone. Following that logic it stood to reason that the only part of the holes that could possibly hold a secret were the cloth like tops of the 6ft holes.

As fascinating as the holes were, Lynda was not particularly interested in discovering their secrets. Rachelle seemed quite content with doing that herself. Lynda also noticed the new person approaching.
"Oh? I recognize you. You were in the original party, weren't you? I'm Lynda. A fair number of the group has assembled in here." Lynda says to the new woman kindly. "I'd like to continue this conversation, but I'm going to poke around here."
With that, she goes to the room of the dancing robes. She was quite interested in them, and why they danced. Lynda decides to reach her hand out, and if the robes don't react violently or what not, she'll try and snatch one. Surely someone in the party will have use for one...
