Harvey looks around nervously. Eggs have put him on edge.

Detecting nothing alive in the room, Kalar had his minions open the southern door. In the next room a large purple crystal floated in the middle of the room. Two more doors could be seen, one to the left and one to the right.
"Hello there," came a voice from the crystal. Small balls if lightning crackled as they began to roll off the crystal. "One door leads to a difficult challenge the other to certain doom. They both lead through the tomb but you may only choose one. I will answer only one question. The answer may be truth or it may be a lie."
"This wasn't here before," said Azedarac.

Kalar beckons one of his ghouls to approach, and then speaks to it.
The ghoul moves towards the crystal and says: "If I were to ask you if you tell the truth, and if I were to ask your opposite if the door to the left leads to doom, would the answers be the same?"
Asking the question before Rob as per James' advice =p

Rob thinks the crystal's smooth voice is kind of sexy
He opens his mouth to start flirting, but shuts it again in irritation when one of Kalar's ghouls pushes past him and starts asking the crystal convoluted nonsense

"Uh.... What?" answered the crystal. "Argh! Your logic is too much for me. You win!" said the crystal and then it sank into the stone floor as if it were water.
The area around the door to the west of the room began to sparkle.

"Sparkling means good, eh?" Frankly this whole thing has been above Harvey's understanding.

"I...I guess? Or is it the opposite...? I'm not sure anymore." Lynda says, trying to wrap her brain around the question posed.

Kalar manifests his sword and searches the area for any traps. He also look around for anything that might be of use. When he's satisfied, he'll have one of his skeletons open the door and enter.
While doing that, he asks of Azderac:
"What sort of challenge can we expect ahead of us?"

Detecting nothing and finding nothing but a dusty stone room, Kalar had a skeleton open the sparkly door and enter the room.
This room was more of a cave than a dungeon. Stalactites hung from the rocky ceiling and jagged edges covered the walls. The ground was covered in dirt. No sign of the normal stone walls ceiling or floor could be seen. The path took a turn shortly after the door and little could be seen beyond the entrance to the room.
The skeleton entered the room and continued down the path till it was out of sight. Nothing out of the ordinary seemed to occur.

Kalar takes a tentative step inside, flanked by his undead. He looks around the room, checking if his goggles detect any sign of life.
"Azderac, what can we expect here?"

"I believe we must have gone the other way when we came, I don't remember a room like this," replied Azedarac.
Kalar detected nothing as he made his way in followed by the gold dragons, now returned to elven form.
Harvey spotted a slight ripple in the sand on the edge of the cavern floor.

"Hold up, we got trouble under the sand. Ripple like that.. normally I'd guess ankle-breaker snare but then this isn't a normal place is it? Could be anything." As he gently approaches the ripple, sure that he's finally found a booby trap, he continues to talk. "You know, I heard once about a hallway full of sand like this.. little button under the sand, obvious, but not too obvious: Just enough to get your attention... you go over to monkey with it and the whole hall turns to fire! Sand turns to molten glass.. you sink in, skin melting, fat burning, and then when it cools the wizard who did it has a perfectly preserved set of fried adventurers for his lab. Great conversation starter, ehehe!"
Ignoring his own story of curiosity gone bad, he gets out his thieves tools and sets to work, dying to know what wicked tricks a trap might have in a place like this.. could be a best-seller back in the real world!

Kalar says to the others, "I should remind everyone that we can all, or at least all of us in our group, turn into mist should we so choose, and move down this hall at ridiculous speeds, easily enough to cover nearly 20 leagues in an hour."

The others all seemed to hold their breath as the three entered the cave-like room. After what happened to the last one to enter an odd room first, they were all expecting something bad to happen. It did.
Chomp!
Giant jaws closed around the gold dragon in an instant. A purple gem covered shark twice the size of an elephant had emerged from the ground. The dirt covered ground rippled like water as it re-entered the ground after shallowing the dragon in elven form. Then the shark was gone, leaving no hole or any sort of trace it was there at all.
Harvey spotted two fins emerge and then sink back into the ground further down the cave-like room.

Alarm fills Harvey's voice as he cries aloud: "Fins! Two fins over there... cutting through the ground like some kind of a shark.. a grounded shark!"
Harvey turns into a mist and floats higher into the room to observe the sittuation before acting father.
