voulton had stayed quiet to see how she'd react to Rottlerwits charms. Something still bothers him about this woman. She's too dumb, even for nobility. What's her secret? What's wrong with her?

He turns his attention to Kalar.. who seems to be have the exploration handled. Voulton takes a quick look at a random skeleton's spear and armor, hoping to find some clue as to their role. Ceremonial guards or veteran soldiers?

How the hell does a skeleton put on armor anyway? Seems like it'd knock their bones off.. then again, it clearly didn't do these skeletons any good..

Something about that clicks in Voulton's head and he rushes back to Rob! With an accusatory eye-brow he whispers his observation: "How can she change her clothes... if her hands are still chained together?"

Rob furrows his brow at Voulton's comment.

He walks over to the door she just went through and knocks "Lady Claire! Are you alright in there? Do you need any help? Are you decent?"

Lynda lays claim to the Periapt and the golden chalice.

Lynda also stops and thinks. Lady Claire is behaving rather...oddly. Sure, she's a noble, but Voulton's response seemed to hint at suspicion. Lynda takes off her amulet, and wields the sword of Sylaire.

"One thing this sword could supposedly do was detect evil...right?" Lynda says wryly.

Lynda points the sword towards Claire's door, and tries to invoke it to detect anything evil.

Kalar notices Lynda trying to get the chalice and says:

"My dear, we can sort out treasures later one we're sure that we're not about to bee attacked by whatever defenses this necromancer left in place. But for now, I would appreciate it if you let the skeletons do their jobs. I assure you, you will get your fair share of treasure once we are through here, and that treasure will be magical in nature, items that will help you alive, and not simple baubles."

Kalar listens to what the others are saying and takes out his skull of undead sight. He aims it at the woman and activates its power.

As Rob approaches the door that Claire had gone into, he hears a loud "CLINK" sound. Then another "CLINK". As Rob addresses Claire, the clinking stops. Finally, the door creaks open and Claire's head pops out. "I'm having some trouble changing with my hands still bond. Is there any chance of getting these off that doesn't involve that big guy's axe?"

After reprimanding Lynda for collecting random treasure, Kalar joins Rob and Voulton at Claire's door. His undead detection signals nothing from Calire. Lynda's Sword of Sylaire detects no evil. It then turns Lynda towards Kalar. A sudden urge to attack Kalar shoots through Lynda's mind. She manages to suppress the urge, but it's clear to everyone, mainly Kalar, what her intentions briefly were.

"Are there keyholes on those?" Rob asks. He seems to remember Lynda having picked up some lockpicks at some point.

"...but really, the 'Big Guy' is very good with the axe. I would trust him to try it if the chain was on me."

"I don't think the sword likes you, Kalar." Lynda says. "It nearly just made me attack you...perhaps it's best if we don't use the evil detector. It's an amazing weapon that can make me fly, but I don't like how it can suggest me like that."

"I could pick those bindings if they have keyholes." Lynda offers. "And if Scholar clothes don't suit your fancy, I may have a spare gown to lend out. I've amassed quite a few."

Claire's eyes light up at the mention of a gown. "Yes, a gown please. Bring your lockpicks too so we can get these shackles off my hands." Claire backed behind the door and opened it more inviting Lynda to enter. In the room, the party could see a large familiar looking well. The well looked a lot like the well Kalar used to travel to the ghoullands.

"A well?! And that woman opted to stay in that room?! Gods only know what could crawl up out of that..." Lynda thinks, somewhat surprised. Lynda puts her amulet back on.

"Alright then Claire." Lynda replies, and makes her way in to the room to help Claire get unshackled, and offer up a dress.

"If I put enough faith in to the sword to send me soaring through the sky, I'll trust that this woman won't push me down that well." Lynda thinks.

Rob waits by the door. He thinks this woman is probably just what she appears to be-- a flighty noble, but he can see that she has the others on edge, and that puts him I'll at ease as well.

If there is any shouting for help, he will burst in, modesty be damned.

"Why are you so scared of a well? I don't think there's anything in there but water, but I could be wrong I guess. Anyways, the shackles please," Claire says while holding out her bound hands. Lynda began picking the lock. Work was slow. The light from the other room creeped in through the cracks in the door, but the light was still too low, even for Lynda's elven eyes. Lynda wondered how Claire could see at all, but after a close look, Lynda noticed Claire very likely couldn't see.

Kalar had completed organizing the items from the small library in Bill's saddle bags by the time Lynda and Claire came out of the well room. Claire was wearing a fancy dress Lynda had purchased during her time in Vyones. Claire was fussing with her hair as they came into the room. "I apologize for my continued disheveled appearance. I'm afraid I won't be able to look my best until we are back in town," the noble woman said. "When will that be do you think? I was told you had some business here but was not informed of all the details. Will it take long?"

"Quite long, my lady. We intend to turn this place upside down searching for its secrets, so we will be here a while.

"We do have a wagon outside where you can rest though, and I have an agent there who can watch over you if you so desire."

Kalar considers the well. If it is indeed a portal as the other one was, then this could be useful. However, it might be difficult to return one through. Information though, is needed.

Kalar orders one of his skeletons to go through the well, and to then return. If it doesn't take long, then it just might be safe.

Looking down after his skeleton, Kalar sees that there is water in the well. The skeleton continues into the water and out of sight.
"Anyone other than the scary guy want to escort me back to town?" asked Claire.

Kalar is getting quite adores at the woman's insistence to leave, as well as rather suspicious.

"My lady, we are several days away from any sort of civilization. We have just arrived here. I have just slaughtered dozens of undead. Even if you wished otherwise, we are unable to leave her until everyone has rested, planned our next move, and organized ourselves. I am not about to lose any more of my comrades because of hasty decisions."

With that, Kalar turns back to the well, waiting for his skeleton to maybe pass through the portal and then return.

"As it stands at the moment, you're stuck here with us." Lynda says to Claire. "As the spooky scary skeleton man told you, we're far from civilization, which is why it's very strange to see you here. This unfortunately means that it would be a great risk for just one of us to escort you to town, seeing as its a great length away. As it stands now, we're currently on a mission here and we cannot leave until it is fulfilled."

"So, my point is, you're gonna have to stick with us." Lynda says. "We're gonna be venturing. There's probably going to be some spooky stuff here. We're probably gonna fight evil. But that's fine, because we have a giant man with an axe, a scary skeleton man, a flirtatious bard, our scaly she-warrior, and...me. So what I'm asking you is to not run off blindly, because this dungeon has stuff in place to keep adventurers like us out...or worse. Keep close to us, and don't put yourself in harms way. Oh, and please be mindful of what you touch. It might sound trivial and annoying, but trust me, there are things you do not want to get involved with."

"Long story short, keep close, don't touch anything suspicious, don't panic, and we'll get you home as soon as we can."
