Rob feels a bit angry and frustrated, but he keeps calm, and continues chatting amicably. Perhaps he can learn some specifics about what powers the Inquisition has that make it unassailable.

He doesn't ask after his father, but he remembers what the others said about meeting him here, so he drops his own full name, and watches for people's reactions.

"Lady Moriamis, we were heading for Nathaire to destroy him. Unfortunately, he took control of one off my minions. I wanted to inform you of new information regarding the curse, but your destruction of the phylactery has returned control of my minion to me. You have inadvertently put us in danger, I fear. With the added power of my old minion, I am losing control of my newer ones. If I do not release one of them we may have an outbreak on our hands. I will release one of the bloodhulks, but could you warn everyone to get clear while I attempt to destroy it before it can do any damage?"

Voulton can't help but laugh at Moriamis' reaction to the phylactery. He has no idea what's going on, but it's awesome.

Kalar's bloodhulks easily restrain the freed bloodhulk. While Kalar breaths a sigh of relief that his bloodhulk will not be smashing any bookcases, Moriamis stands up beside Kalar. "These things can't stay in the library. This one that seems wild can't stay here at all." With that Moriamis casts a spell that destroys the loose bloodhulk.
Kalar, let me make something clear. Necromancy is frowned upon here. You are an outsider so I will let this slide, but keep your necromancy to yourself in the future." Moriamis calls over a robed man to escort the bloodhulks out of the library, the man motions to the bloodhulks to follow him, however the bloodhulks stand waiting Kalar's approval.
Moriamis continues, ignoring the Bloodhulk matter. "This phylactery should not have been brought here. If Nathaire survived it's destruction he may have learned the location of this library because of your actions. I will need to send men to scout out his stronghold to see if he lives. However, if he is in fact dead, I suppose you should be thanked for bring about the end of such a villain. I'm sure you all have quite a tale to tell regarding how to acquired such a thing as Nathaire's Phylactery, if that is indeed what that was."

While Kalar's bloodhulks were exiled fromt he library, Rob tried to gain more information by talking to the locals. He learns that the Inquisitor's leader, Azedarac, is truly a powerful wizard. His power far outshine Moriamis' or any other spell caster in the kingdom. To top it off, he has surrounded himself with a score of spellcasters that show total devotion to him. The people's tone while talking about the inquisition seems very depressed.
When mentioning his name, Rob gets a few eyebrow raises which leads to him learning that Dan is not currently in the library to the robed men's knowledge. Though, it seems they aren't fully aware of when he comes and goes so they could be wrong.

Voulton quits laughing. "I'm sorry, I had no idea. It's been in my pack the whole time, so hopefully it didn't see anything. I wouldn't mind accompanying your scouting party, getting home will be a lot easier without gigantic monsters smashing all the cities. "

"I'm afraid that would be difficult,"explain Moriamis. "The men that are going to scout out Nathaire's lair are miles and miles away. A message will be sent to them magically and their report sent magically back. If we waited for your group to travel all the way there and back again it could take weeks to know Nathaire's fate."

Kalar swallows back the retort that it was Moriamis that freed the blood hulk as it won't do any good. Instead, he decides to just agree with her. They are, after all, in her stronghold. Which gives him an idea.

"You have my word that I will perform no necromancy here.

"I do have a suggestion though. If you can provide us aid, we can venture forth now for Nathaire' stronghold. Even if your men report that Nathaire is dead, it could possibly still contain hordes of undead that remain. We can clear it out for you and convert it into an allied stronghold.

"We've faced a small party of the inquisition once and managed to kill their leaders and send them running. If we had a base of operations and the resources Nathaire once had, then we could ally together and conceivably create a force strong enough to rival Azderac.

"My main goal is, of course, to break this curse. But we cannot do that if we have the inquisition blocking our every move. Already, the people of Vyones hail us as heroes for defending their city against Nathaire. Consider it. We have a chance to win against this Azderac. No man is invincible, and I truly believe that we could rid Averoigne of his influence if we work together. Think on it, we have already rid Averoigne of one in evil in Nathaire. Help us, and we could rid it of another."

Moriamis scoffs, "Don't get ahead of yourself. Azedarac is much more powerful than Nathaire was. I would of course welcome you defeating him, I just don't find it likely to happen. In fact, I'm so sure you won't be able to do it I will promise you a reward of all the treasures in my private vault if you can do it." Moriamis calms down a bit. "I'm afraid I can't risk helping you much on your quest to defeat him though. If he were to find out we were plotting against him he would be sure to destroy this place. I'm not completely sure, but I find it hard to believe he doesn't know of this place. It's possible he simply allows it to exist for some unknown purpose."
"Anyways, as far as Nathaire's lair, you're wlecome to do as you wish. I warn you though, his treasures are likely to be cursed."

"Hmm, very well then, I concede the point. If you will excuse me then, I shall prepare for the journey. I gave my word that I would perform no necromancy here, so I shall purchase what I need, and then I shall wait outside of the library. I will call my minion to me and await the rest of the party."

With that, Kalar bows to Moriamis, and goes about purchasing what he needs before looking for a guide to lead him out of the library. Once outside, Kalar will command Bill to take to the skies and home in on his location.

Lynda, having changed in to her new dress, decides to venture back out in to the library.

She goes over and finds Moriamis.

"Lady Moriamis." Lynda says. "If you don't mind, I've got a few things I'd like to bring up. After we left the library, our party headed to Sylaire. Pay close attention, because this is about to get complicated. While there, we met a woman named Sephora, who was a seductress. She sent us on a mission...to go back in time and kill the original werewolf of Averoigne. After that, we came back to the present and found Sephora dead, as a dried corpse. There was also an influx of bears, according to the history books. Do you have anything to weigh in on this?"

"Oh, and as a personal concern, I learned that if I do not wear my anti-magic amulet, my body phases in to the Ethereal Plane. I have no clue as to how this came about."

Learning that his father is not present brings to Rob a mixture of disappointment and relief.

Learning that even these people are afraid of Azedarc and unwilling to challenge him, inclines Rob to be a little more forgiving to Gaspard for his cowardice.

Rob then goes to meet Moriamis (still unware of the Rachelle/Lizardkind Drama, or the Kalar/Bloodhulks drama)

He arrives as Lynda is questioning Moriamis about the time travel, and politely waits and listens. After Lynda is done with her conversation, he intends to politely introduce himself, and try to discreetly sound out whether or not she is single, and whether or not any chemistry can exist between the two of them.

He doesn't stand too close to Lynda, because he doesn't want to accidentally create the impression that they are "together"

Moriamis nods her approval of Kalar's plan to leave. She then turns her attention towards Lynda. Lynda had changed into a fantastic gown and entered the library as if she were attending a grand ball. She caught the attention of many people as she approached Moriamis and began her tale. "Interesting," said Moriamis. "Scribes! This tale needs to be recorded. Please start from when we last met and continue till now. I will be better able to comment on things once I know the whole story." Two men with paper and quills came over and readied themselves to write.
Lynda began her tale then. Rob sat and listened, not being present for a good deal of the beginning. He sat next to Moriamis, slyly flirting with her while Voulton filled in holes to Lynda's story. When the time came that Rob began to know the rest of the story, he interjected. He wove a vivid tale of heroism and intrigue. Lynda and Voulton slowly feel silent, bowing to Rob's superior story telling skills. Rob worked in winks and flirting glances targeted at Moriamis during his story whenever he could. When he was done, Moriamis nodded silently. She sat there thinking for a while before saying, "Well, Dan would know more about your condition then I Lynda. He's off visiting the silver dragon right now though and I don't know when he'll be back." Moriamis shrugged at this mostly bad news. "This talk of time travel leaves me stumped. I'm not very familiar with such things, but hearing that you've rid us of a werewolf plague we used to have fills me with joy. Despite Rachelle's terrible run in with them, I think I prefer these bears we have to werewolves."
Voulton left after the story to research better fighting techniques. Moriamis stood, "I'll think this story you've told me over for a bit. I'll try to answer any questions you have tomorrow." Moriamis dismissed Rob's advances politely as if he must not have been serious.

Rachelle was back in her room. Nothing fit. She would have to tear a tail hole in anything she bought and she would need to have special armor made. She never thought of herself as someone who cared about her outward appearance, even if she got lots of compliments on it. But now, looking at the brownish-green image in the mirror, she wasn't sure what to do. She didn't want anyone to see her like this.

Rob shrugs off Moriamis's apparent lack of interest in him. You win some, you lose some.

He asks Lynda solemnly, "What happened with Rachelle's corpse? Were they able to revive her, or are we scheduling a funeral?"

Getting no response from Lynda, Rob assumes that she does not want to talk about it because the revival attempt failed. He decided this is a bad time to press her for details about the funeral, so he leaves the room without saying anything more.

Rob wanders among the shops searching for a Hat of Disguise that he can haggle for. He hopes that if he can charm the shopkeeper enough he can get one for a good price.

Rachelle sighs deeply at her new condition and tries to find a cloak to cover herself with. If any of the armor she had with her is still intact, she'll clean it up, sell it off, and try and find something that can actually fit her new form.

Whether or not that pans out, she'll go and look around for some information on how the Inquisition came to power; maybe the solution to its demise lies there?
