Janette devours everything in front of her. It seems very pleased.

Silas couldn't understand how these people could eat right after that huge meal Galse made. He continued to just push his food around.
The others all enjoyed themselves. The roast beef is tender, tasty and pink in the center. It was cooked perfectly. The bread and green beans are great. The mushrooms in the wine sauce taste terrible.
(fort save)
One bite fills Lyndas mouth with a terrible taste and for a moment she felt as thought her heart would stop. The wine is the most delicious wine anyone has had. After drinking it one feels as if they had just had drank 10 glasses of wine.

Lynda is stricken with hunger. She will need twice as much food to survive for the rest of her life.

Galse and Kalar becoming permanently immune to hunger.

Lynda and Galse are very drunk.

The plates are cleared and the last course is brought out; apple streudal and brandy.

Who eats what?

Seeing the two as drunk as they are, convinces Kalar that he should stay away from anything alcoholic. Not wanting to completely refuse everything though, he takes the apple streudal and starts eating it.

Ain't no party like a Lynda party cause a Lynda party don't stop!

Suddenly she felt absolutely hammered! Whatever was in that wine was fantastic...

Lynda, seeing the delicious pastry in front of her, decides to voraciously dig in to it. She even decides to go for the Brandy. She's gonna regret it in the morning, but hey, live in the moment, right?

She looks towards her party members and manages to sputter out something along the lines of "You gonna eat that? I'm suddenly starving as hell."

Turning his nose up in revulsion at Lynda's drunkenness, Kalar pushes what remains of his apple streudal towards the woman and says, "Here, be my guest."

Galse's eyes are pointing different directions... holy cow, he has eyes. Eyes that are busy reading from a scroll and mumbling, occasionally laughing aloud and offering a peek of it to anyone within arms reach. He won't be partaking of streudel or brandy today.

His curiosity piqued, Kalar takes a look at the scroll Galse is showing off.

Silas sees Lynda choke and almost die when eating the mushrooms and this drunkness is magical in nature for sure. He won't be eating any of this phantom food.

Lynda eats her food and some of Kalar's. As she does, she can feel her mind grow. A wild power swirls around in her mind.
She drinks the brandy. Shortly after she does, she falls to the ground. For a second she can see through her hand. Everyone can. She panics and touches her chair. When she does the parts of the chair she touches disintegrate. As she stands up, she wills her hand to return to normal.

Lynda gains the feat wild talent along with an extra 2 power points and the ability to manifest the psionic power Dissipating Touch.

Kalar gains 2 power points.

The Ogre goes ghostly. The waiters come and clean up the plates. All the ghost guests around the table, along with the Ogre. Get up and exit the room by walking into the wall. The room returns to it's unghostly plain looking state.

It's a bit hard to read with Galse slapping you on the back and wavering his hand around pointing out the good parts, but the scroll seems to contain a variety of lewd poetry in various handwriting, ranging from the slightly off-color to the kind of vulgarity that would make an orc blush. "D.. d ya get it? It.. says he needed FOUR buckets!" he says, throwing in another slap...

...he doesn't seem to realize the ghosts are gone yet.

The party sits in that empty room. Two of them are drunk, so they're in no hurry to go anywhere. They contemplate their past experiences.

Galse, Silas and Kalar gain 1931 experience.

Lynda gains 1031 experience.

"Ah man, my hands make stuff vanish!" Lynda blurts out. She takes great interest in the scroll Galse is reading, and decides to join in on the reading.

She looks at Kalar and laughs childishly.

"I don't know what just happened, but I don't think I'm up for more exploring right now." Lynda attempts to sputter out.

Seeing as how it seems none of his companions are in any sort of state to venture forth, Kalar takes up position by the door to prevent any unwanted entry. He's loath to have to put himself on point this way, but if the rest of the party is wiped out, then his chances of getting out of here alive are reduced rather drastically.

While waiting for them to regain their sobriety, Kalar takes the time to look around the room for anything interesting left behind by the departing of the ghosts.

He also gives a faint salute towards where the ghosts departed and says, "Fare well, lady. May you find in the afterlife the nobility you could not attain in this world."

The room lays empty, save for the large ornate table and chairs.

Good call on not having Silas eat anything. That is exactly what I would have had him do

Silas looks at the others after the meal is over and says:

"You idiots are all lucky to be alive"

After that, Silas lapses back into silence.

My online time might be spotty for the next few days, so marching orders for DM follow:

He will continue to stick with the party. If a fight breaks out, he will use any spell at his disposal to survive.

His only obviously supportive spell is Resistance. He won't use it on Galse or Lynda while they remain drunk, but after they sober up, he will prefer using it on them rather than Kalar, who he dislikes.

Each time they encounter a new person and/or apparition, Silas will always attempt to talk to it.

The first thing he will ask is its name. Then he will ask "what is this place?" and then he will ask "What is your story?"

If he has the opportunity to do so, he will ask these questions in a way that will hopefully get the answers to his ears alone, but he won't make that a priority. It is slightly more important for him to ask the questions than it is for him to get the answers secretly.

He will still continue spending spare time repeatedly examining his surroundings for anything anybody else might have missed, telling them only about the dangerous stuff.

Kalar gives Silas a stern look and says, "If we hadn't eaten anything, chances are that the ogre would have gotten angry and snapped. Sure, there are four of us, I'm still fairly certain that not eating would have gotten us killed much more quickly."

That said, he turns his attention back to the door.
