The hound archon easily handed all the items back through the hole. Then it looked at the wraiths and looked back at Tammytharn expectingly.

"I don't think they are a threat anymore" says Tammytharn to the Hound Archon, "but you can do whatever you like with your time until your summoning expires."

"Do we need to do anything else here?" she asks the others as she collects the items to take back to Lynda. "Who wants to carry the Sword?"

"I'll carry it." Voulton shrugs. His mother had always worried about going down stairs while carrying something sharp, must be some kinda woman thing.

"Well, we have Lynda's things back, along with the sword. Are we going to search for other secret rooms? I'm fairly certain Bill could smash a hole through one of these walls if the need arises."

"I don't know. We got what we came for. How greedy are we?"

"Well, it's not so much that we're greedy as it's I want to figure out what happened here and how we affected things. At the very least, I want to learn how that woman died."

"Shouldn't we deal with these wraiths first, though? Soon it's going to be dark, and we'll have lost our ability to make an easy retreat from them if anything goes wrong."

"Well, Tammytharn might be able to get them to flee, or destroy them. But I'm not sure if she would really approve of that. So..."

Kalar holds up his holy symbol and brings a ghostly weapon into being. He then directs it to attack the wraiths.

But Kalar could see no wraiths. The Hound Archon had finished off the ones remaining in the secret room, and the other weren't showing themselves. The faint moans of the wraiths were the only thing that let the party know that they were still around somewhere.

"Hmm, very well then. Cover me. And keep an eye out for any more of those wraiths."

Kalar enters the small hole, keeping his holy symbol ready. He looks around the room, trying to see if there's anything of interest there. He also takes his wand of detect magic out again and gives the entire room a sweep.

Voulton gestures to the sword "If we're gonna be fighting stuff, someone else would make better use of this than me."

Kalar finds nothing magical. He does make note of the recently opened box. It seems less aged than the other things in the room and has a necromantic magical aura around it. It's empty. The old dusty furniture in the room seems less than promising as far as secrets go. The only thing of note in the room seems to be the lever and the skeletons near it.

The sword... somethin about the sword. "Weren't we getting this sword for a reason? Saving a town or something? A giant monster was gonna be there any second? ...what're we doing here again?"

Well, that was fairly pointless.

"Right lads, let's be off then. I don't think we're going to learn much else here."

With that, the party left the tower. None of the wraiths bothered them, or even appeared, on their way out. They met Lynda outside and she was overjoyed to see her stuff back.
