Tammytharn inspects the baby. If it seems okay, she will call for Voulton to bring the rest of the children.

She prepares a Sending spell to contact Lady Sephora. She will just say "We are back, we killed the original werewolf." She isn't going to mention the children just yet. Based on her last interaction with Lady Sephora, Tammytharn suspects that she will already know somehow.

Voulton checks his cart for holes to make sure no one escaped before going through the portal as Lynda had directed.

Tammytharn checks the baby, it's doing better than before she feed it but is still in bad shape. It's eye is swollen shut from the bruise and it's been sleeping a lot more than Tammytharn thinks babies should. She's not sure about that though. While she looks at the baby, werewolves in the forest rush towards Tammytharn. Before she notices them she motions for the others to bring the other children through. Tammytharn turns to see dozens of werewolves rushing at her.
As the cart, that had no holes in it, passed fully through the portal, the werewolves vanished. No werewolves could be seen in the forest.
As the rest of the party passed through the portal Tammytharn cast her sending spell. She got no response.

"Well, lets be off to see Sephora." Lynda says. "After nearly being shot to death by an angry cleric, fighting a massive horde, and battling our toughest foe; moral choices, I'd really like to get that sword and get the hell back to Vyones."

"Yes, that would indeed be ideal."

Kalar mounts Bill and gets ready to head out. He also keeps his eye out for any more ghosts that he might be able to bend to his will. His new skeletons though, he orders to flank the party on either side, so as to provide a screen for any attackers.

"If you have any rope left, you can tie the cart to Bill. He's more than strong enough to drag the cart, along with any who wish to ride it as well."

Before setting off, he makes sure that the coins he got from Lynda are all stashed away neatly in Bill's saddlebags. The coins will be very useful later on to make new trinkets. When the time presents itself, he also decides to start working on a Glove of Healing.

Glove of Healing: 1,260 gp & 50 xp (details in OOC thread)

Lynda leads the way up the tower. Tammytharn hangs back with the wolf children and Kalar and Voulton do as well. Rachelle and Lynda arrive at the top and open the door to find a corpse in the lady's throne. The corpse looks ancient. It wears the lady's silk robe and holds the sword they had come there to get. They look around the room expecting something to possibly happen, but nothing does.

While waiting for the women, Kalar begins work on his new glove. He decides to use his right gauntlet as a base item. It came with the armor he bought, so might as well use it instead of buying another glove.

"Well...this is...unexpected." Lynda says, confused. She takes the sword.

She'll head back down with the sword and tell Kalar what she discovered.

The corpse's hand crumbles as Lynda takes the sword from it. Then Lynda heads back down the stairs and out of the tower, Rachelle following behind.
Lynda returns with the sword and tells the party about the corpse.

"That is most interesting. Very well then, I suggest we all head up into the tower and search it. There may be some items of interest left behind. Be careful though, I don't want any of us dying from traps. If you find something that needs opening, tell me, and I'll have one of my skeletons open it up."

"I distinctly remember there is a secret passage or something behind Sephora's throne." Lynda mentions.

Lynda and Kalar rushed back up the tower and searched around. Other than the throne, the brazier, and the corpse, the room was empty. The throne seemed to be made of gold but the brazier was rusted iron. Upon inspection of the corpse, it crumbled to dust. Despite having seen a secret door on the wall behind the throne, neither Lynda nor Kalar could find how to open it.

Kalar summons his skeletons to him. He gives one his war pick, another his magical dagger, and two more a piton each. He then orders them to attack the throne to get as much gold from it as possible. Before they start though, he leaves the room in case Sephora left some sort of spell on the throne.

There were no traps and no spells. The masterly crafted throne was slowly but surely torn apart. Hunks of gold were pulled off and stacked. At the end, Kalar's minions had made roughly 50 hunks of gold each equal to about 100gold.

"Excellent."

Kalar has the skeletons load the gold into Bill's saddlebags.

"Well, barring any sudden developments, I believe we are done here? Might be good to head for the river. I have a boat that we can use, and we can have the skeletons row the boat up the river. The boat will last a day, and if all goes well, we should be able to come within a few miles of the city."

Kalar thinks for a while and then says.

"It might not be good to have Bill on board though. I'll have him trail us from the sky. High enough to be out of casual sight, hopefully."

Just in case he needs it, Kalar decides to heal Bill up some more.
