Voulton maintains his intimidating pose, hoping to let them make the first move. He's also kinda surprised, so all he can do is state the obvious: "I think we found their leader."

The werewolves turn towards the party and bear their claws and teeth. A fight seems unavoidable. Three werewolves, not with the main group rush ahead from the south.

Kalar raises his holy symbol towards the main group and says:

"BURN"

EARTH REAVER
Range: Medium (100 ft + 10 ft./level)
Area: 20-ft.-radius spread, +10ft./level (90ft. Should be big enough to get the entire main group.)
Duration: Instantaneous

You point at a spot on the ground, and the earth at that point erupts in a shower of rock, dirt, and fire. Creatures and objects within the area take 7d6 points of damage; the damage is 4d6 impact and 3d6 fire. Those that fail the saving throw are knocked prone.

Voulton waits for the magey fireworks to clear before he does anything. This is good defensive position to boot!

Rachelle holds up her shield in front of her face to prevent any of the spell's results from hitting her. She'd wait until the flames went down to go in after any of the werewolves who actually wanted to fight after that display... although the lack of a silver weapon of any sort was a bit of a concern.

Lynda was first to attack, her arrows skewering into the werewolf horde with deadly accuracy. Tammytharn begans summoning a fire elemental. She hoped that her god would count the fire elemental's action against her vow. She focused on her spell, not expecting what happened next at all.
Kalar quickly stepped in front of the party, he casts a spell, the same as he always had but something was different this time. The thing on his chest burned deeply. He could feel it spreading rapidly as the spell shot forth from his holy symbol. Then, the ground began to shake. Small molten rocks shot out of the ground like daggers, digging into everyone on the field. Kalar lost sight of the battle field. He was standing in front of Dispater who looked pleased.
Back on the battle field, the party watched as Kalar fell prone as the shaking continued. They were assault by the spell, along with the werewolves.
By the time the shaking was done, all the normal looking werewolves were on the ground. The skeletons and even the ghosts were gone and they themselves were all badly injured in the assault. Kalar awoke back on the battle field to find it in ruins. He had once again lost most of his minions. His pony too. He could also feel a cold sting where the metal had grown to cover. He was pleased to notice it had not yet reached his face, but his arms to his elbows and most of his back where now covered.
Tammytharn cringed as her concentration failed during the assault. What had Kalar just done and why?

The large werewolf charged the party in a rage.

"Crap on a stick, that was not supposed to happen... Something's wrong with my magic!"

Kalar falls back and commands his zombicore to attack the ur-werewolf.

Voulton will follow the manticore in (or go ahead of it, either way) and put to use the philosophy of a kind old man who gave a big weird kid a chance. "Destroy a man's weapons" he'd said "and you destroy his will to fight". When I said that to the Queen, she had her armorers give me this beast of an axe. They said it'd do the trick. Time to find out if they were telling the truth.

Voulton attempts to SUNDER the werewolf's sword! The fact that he's a werewolf and has fangs and claws and slime to fall back on have eluded Voulton in the moment, so eager to try this technique and prove the old priest right.

Seeing only the leader of the lycanthrops remaining, she does something impulsive. She had been saving a "Break Enchantment" to cast on herself if she changed, or on one of her allies, but instead she casts it on the Werewolf.

Perhaps if she can cure his werewolfism, this cycle of killing can be cut short

Lynda transforms into her slightly transparent form and activates a magic item she hopes will help. A gas shoots out of the gew in the blink of an eye and forms a feirce hound in front of Lynda. The hound turns towards the werewolf and growls.
Kalar's manticore zombie attacks the werewolf. It digs it's claws in but seems to do only a small amount of damage.
Voulton shoves through the active channel between the broken fountain in the middle of the hamlet and the stoney ruins of a destroyed cottage. He takes aim and strikes at the werewolf's blade. A shower of sparks and a wave of magic splash out as the werewolf's blade is cut. Compared to the trees Voulton is used to cutting down, this sword put up almost no fight at all. The werewolf paused slightly as the top half of his sword fell to the ground.
Tammytharn tries to cure the werewolf's curse but finds it incurable. Although she was unsuccessful, she takes note that this must be the original werewolf if it's curse can't be cured.
Rachelle hung back, just out of the melee. She nodded her approval of Voulton's sundering tactics. There was currently no safe way to enter the melee, so she waited for her chance.

The werewolf tore into Voulton in a fury. Both claws slashed Voulton's flesh and a nasty bite tore a piece of Voulton's leg away. Voulton bled on the ground as the final rays of sunlight began to fade.

Kalar dashes up the side of the building directly north of the melee. Looking down at the fight, he holds up his holy symbol with one hand, and claws his fingers together with his other. He then unleashes that power into the werewolf.

Clutch of Orcus (Libris Mortis)

Save DC: 19

Magical force grips the subject’s heart (or similar vital organ and begins crushing it. The victim is paralyzed and takes 1d3 points of damage per round. Concentration is required to maintain the spell each round. A conscious victim can attempt a new Fortitude saving throw each round to end the spell. If the victim dies as a result of this spell, its smoking heart appears in your hand.

It's not much damage, but if it works, it'll keep the ur-werewolf paralyzed so the melee-ers can go crazy on it.
