In the distance through the trees, the party sees a torch light high in the sky as if on the top of a tower. The light reveals 30 werewolves lurking around the party. They all retreat into the darkness of the forest.

Lynda takes off her amulet. A gust of etheral energy bursts out of her arm as it becomes less tangible. She looks around and sees a dozen or so ghosts. Unlike with Dan, these ghosts are completely white and show signs of decay and death. They are all scatter around the forest spread 30 to 40 feet apart. They are all turned to look towards the light in the distance.

Lynda shivers and stands closer to someone.

"Theres...so many ghosts around...unlike Dan, these things are...rotted and decayed. They all see the beacon...fortunately, there's no Beast of Averoigne lurking around here..."

"Where are they? Which direction? Tammytharn, you might want to ready your holy symbol, just in case."

Done with animating the skeletons, Kalar readies his holy symbol as well. He begins focusing negative energy into it, but doesn't release anything just yet.

"They're...everywhere...all around us..." Lynda says in slight terror and bewilderment.

"Right, lads. Might not be a good idea to set up camp here at the moment. Ideas?"

"Perhaps it is Sephora saying 'Get the hell out of the forest and come to me'" Lynda says. "Or a horrible trap. Who wants to find out?"

"From what we know, at least this Sephora is flesh and blood. At least our weapons will do something against her. These ghosts? I don't think we have many weapons that will be very effective against them. Even if it's a trap, at least we'll know about it, so that will give us an edge. I say we press on."

The party decides to stay together and heads for the light. Lynda decides she's rather not see the ghosts any more and replaces her amulet, only to be surrounded by Kalar's manifested ghosts and skeletons.
Less than a mile in, the forrest opened up into a large clearing. A stone tower stood in the middle and a large archway stood in the clearing a good distance away from each other. The light the party saw shines out of a window in the tower.
Werewolves could be seen lurking just outside the clearing, on all sides.

"That's it." Lynda says. "That must be Sephora's tower. Do we dare try and make our way in to it?"

"Most interesting. Lynda, my dear, if you could be so kind as to head on towards the tower along with Tammytharn and Rachelle? Voulton and I will wait here. Less chance of us being enthralled, if this is where Sephora is."

Kalar orders his skeletons to form a defensive ring around himself and the ghosts. He doubts Voulton would want any guarding him, feeling that the half-giant would much rather chop things apart himself.

"Go, I will hold them here as best as I can."

Kalar turns to Voulton and says, "Let's head for the doorway. At least there, we can bottleneck them. But make no hostile moves unless they decide to swarm us. Also, might want to cover your ears."

Kalar focuses divine energy through his holy symbol and into his voice. He begins to launch into oratory, trying to capture the minds of all the creatures around him.

Enthrall - DC 17 - Range 150 feet

Kalar can keep holding off the werewolves this way for an hour at the most. Until then though, he can't do anything, so he's pretty much inactive for the time being.

Tammytharn heals the other ladies wounds, and her own.

She converts three Cure Light Wounds spells, and cures each of them fully

Tammytharn casts Clairvoyance to see what is happening inside the room with the light at the top of the tower. She will describe whatever she sees to Lynda and Rachelle.

On Lynda she casts Cure Light Wounds
Roll(1d8)+5: 4,+5 Total:9
Lynda is fully healed.

On Rachelle she casts Cure Light Wounds
Roll(1d8)+5: 7,+5 Total:12
Rachelle is fully healed

On Herself she casts Cure Light Wounds
Roll(1d8)+5: 4,+5 Total:9
Tammythran is fully healed.

The party takes a moment to heal before entering the tower. As Tammytharn hands out cure spells, Kalar sets up a defensive position before enthralling as many werewolves as he could. The affected werewolves visibly calm down. A few unaffected werewolves continue their rage filled pacing at the edge of the forest.

Tammytharn magically peeks into the lit room. She sees a mostly bare room. Other than stone walls, ceiling, and floor there is a coal brazier in the middle of the floor. More importantly there is a woman sitting on a throne. Shirtless men stand on either side of her. She looks directly at Tammytharn's spell. "Hello Tammytharn," says the woman. "I look forward to meeting you soon." The woman waves her hand and the spell ends.

The door to the tower opens to reveal a very bare stone stairway.

Tammytharn frowns... "Well, she knows we are here, she knows my name, and she just invited us in. I don't feel good about this, but we might as well march in and get it over with.... At least she seems polite."
