Galse assists with the carrying of the halfling (half-elf? half-something)and the statues, making multiple trips and dragging if necessary.

Eventually the groups gets the 2 stoned party members and the sleeping one back to their camp. Tammytharn begins researching a cure for the stoned status the two are in. She's fairly certain there should be enough gold and platinum dust along with diamonds to perform the ritual, though they may be spread among the party. She can only guess that the mixture in the caldrons is the right mixture for the ritual. There are three mixtures of this type in the book that Tammytharn has found so far, there may be more. However, there aren't enough potions to make one from scratch so it's the caldrons or nothing. Tammytharn figures she has a small chance of this working and if she fails it's likely either Rachelle or Gontort will die and all the materials will be wasted.

Kalar retrieves his tower shield, holding it at ready once more. He looks around the room, unsure of what the next course of action should be. He wants to find the throne room, in order to find more clues about what's going on. However, they've just lost Rachelle, and perhaps Gontort again.
It does seem though, that Tammytharn has some sort of idea as to how to restore the two. He decides that it's in his best interests to make sure at least one of the warriors is up and running, preferably Rachelle as she is less of a potential liability. He moves in to help Tammytharn with whatever alchemical process she's working on.

Galse will also try to chip in any way he can. Cooking's cooking, right? At the very least he'll keep the fires going.

Tammytharn re-reads the relevant passages aloud so Kalar ang False can hear, and then they proceed to attempt the stone cure

Tammytharn begins the ritual. Spells swirl around in the air as the statue formerly known as Gontort is heaved a caldron with a crazy potion mixture in it. Tammytharn reads the words of the ritual as carefully as she can. As she goes, she slurs a few words. Then she slurs a few more. The tone of the ritual turns dark. Gontort's facial expression turns from the passive face he had when he was turned to stone, to one of pure terror. Large clouds of red smoke erupt from the caldron as Gontort's statue melts. Screaming can be heard coming from the statue just before it's completely devoured by the billowing caldron. Then it's over. The caldron sits empty. Nothing remains of Gontort the dwarf.

Galse checks under and around the cauldron to be sure.. maybe he just fell out? All the smoke made it hard to tell for sure...

Kalar is shocked. This is not what he wanted. Still, mistakes happen, and further provoking Tammytharn would not be wise, seeing as how he has just recently made peace, no matter how tentatively, with her.
"There, there, my dear. I am sure you were not to blame for this... mess. Was that the only ritual in the book? We might be able to do better with Rachelle, if you wish to risk it."

Lynda sighs. Things haven't been going well.
First off, she had to repeat the whole chapel ordeal, only to fail at saving Charles and getting herself roughed up by Simon, losing Kalar's undead army in the process. Second, the bull incident left her worse for wear, and because of her amulet, she cannot heal as easily as the rest. Finally, she's watched Gontort die twice over, once in mind, and now in flesh. As much as Tammytharn is a pain at times and butts heads with the party, she couldn't help but feel some sadness as she wept bitterly over failing to save Gontort. The worst part being, Rachelle's still entombed, and their efforts could possibly kill her in the same fashion.
"Don't be so hard on yourself Tammytharn, you tried your best to fix him..." Lynda says, sounding sympathetic. "I don't know how else to react to the tragedy that just occured."
Lynda takes one of her human figurines, and idly examines it.
"This may be nonmagical, but I did find it in this room. Maybe it's important?"

"We've all had quite the ordeal. I say we get some rest first, and as soon as we're all refreshed and feeling better, we can have another go at reviving Rachelle if you want. You can take it easy for now, I'll tend to everyone's wounds so that you can focus on Rachelle."
If the party rests, Kalar will use the Heal skill to provide long term care for everyone.

Time passes as the party tried to deal with yet another lose. After about an hour a knock comes from the door.

Kalar looks up at the door. This can't be good...
"Lynda, my dear, if you could be so kind as to aim an arrow at that door. If it's hostile, fill it full of holes."
Kalar moves to the door, standing well to the side of it.
"Identify yourself."

Galse draws his sap and takes an ambush position behind the door, signalling the others to open the door at their leisure. If it's someone dangerous, they're gonna get mandatory naptimed..
