"Hmm, very well then.

"So, we must decide, do we head for the gate now? Or explore the rest of the castle first? I recall you left for the Green Room and beyond, was there anything of worth there?

"Also, I am curious as to where the throne room is. If this was the castle of King Stephen, there is bound to be some place here where he held court. We might be able to learn more about this king, which would in turn help in breaking this curse."

"We should check every nook and cranny before we leave. We don't want to miss anything." Galse is in no hurry to find out what this Averoigne is like.

"A very good point. Shall we be off then? It looks like that cleric won't be attacking us, so it might be a good idea to get out of here while we can. And especially before he decides to come after us."

Kalar considers where to go next. "I do want to see these rooms you spoke of. I have only thus far seen the black and red rooms. Shall we head towards them then?"

Tammytharn frowns. She wants to leave the caste now, but she senses that she will be outvoted.

"It does puzzle me that the location of Castle Clover is not marked on the map."

"Why don't we go and open the silver-key-gate, and look through the door. If it opens to a city, we can got outside for a day or two for supplies and to ask questions. If it opens to an unmarked wilderness, we can stay in here until we know more."

Kalar nods at this.

"Also a good idea. We might be able to get supplies before exploring the castle further."

A thought strikes Kalar then.

"On the other hand, are we sure we will be able to return? When I went through the portal to the ghoul lands, there was no return portal nearby. I had nearly a day's worth of walking before I was able to find a portal back here. And that was with the aid of ghouls who knew the area. I was extremely lucky that I was not stranded there permanently. It could be the case with the gate as well."

If he didn't do it before, Galse takes the opportunity to show everyone the story book and how the names involved seem familliar.

Thistlewhistle gets up and walks towards the door with his eyes closed.

Galse steps in the way. "Sorry pal, I don't think you're in any shape to go exploring. Why don't you just lie down nice and comfortable until... you know.. you wake up?" he says, somewhat troubled. Hopefully he really is asleep and not just squinty. It's always embarassing when people think you're sleepwalking when you're not.

That's... new.

Kalar makes to stop the gnome, but decides it might be informative to see where he goes.

"Galse, let's see where this leads. It might be of interest. We'll keep an eye on him though."

With that said, he opens the door and stays close to the gnome, but makes sure that he keeps far enough away that should the gnome trigger any traps, he will be well out of range.

Rachelle, interrupting the conversation about the gate, tells the party about the frost lizard. If it didn't like her just barging in, maybe knocking first would be a good idea? Having Galse on hand to knock out the lizard if needed would be nice, as well.

Naturally, she had completely missed Thistlewhistle getting up.

Galse shrugs and follows. If it looks like they're going to get into trouble, he'll send the kid back to sleepy land manually.

Kalar falls into line alongside Galse, shield at before him and claws at the ready.

Rachelle goes back up the ladder to the color rooms, and heads over to the door to the white room.

"Sorry for barging in like that last time, Mr. Lizard, but am I allowed to come in?" she says, knocking on the door beforehand.

...or she would be doing this, if Thistlewhistle wasn't suddenly animate again.

Thistlewhistle heads across the lab into the hallways. Then heads tot he room containing the gate of the silver keys. Thistlewhistle stops. A very ornate torch appears in Thistlewhistle's hand. The torch looks to be made of platinum and is in the shape of a dragon head connected to the tail. The mouth points up and out of it burns a bright blue flame.
Thistlewhistle goes to open the door.

Kalar stands at ready, but not entering the door. Who knows what will happen. Should it look like Thistlewhistle is going to be attacked though, he will step in. And should it look like the gnome is going to do something insane, he'll stop him while bringing Hrulgin in to paralyze the gnome.
