With his army as filled out as he can get it, Kalar exits through the portal that the ghouls mentioned, bringing along with him Hrulgin, six skeleton warriors, and four ghouls, ready to reunite with the party.
Once he gets back, he will order his skeletal followers to begin moving the needed gold to Charles' room. He will also ask Hrulgin to go with them so that he can explain things to Charles while Kalar reunites with the party.

The brief uplifting of spirits Rachelle experienced upon seeing Kalar return was immediately dampened upon seeing the contingent of undead he had brought back with him.
Unsure if the party as a whole had any idea of where to go next, Rachelle asked if any of the party had gone into the green room that was opposite the red one. Maybe the guardian there would be as sane as the one on the other side? She had only caught a glimpse of him, after all.

Hrulgin takes Kalar aside to speak. "I didn't want to alarm you back in the ghoul lands, as any worry you showed might have tipped more citizens off that you weren't some sort of vampire but were instead alive. However, the guards were on their way. Another hour or two and you may have been arrested. I'd sugest not returning to the ghoul lands for a while." With that Hrulgin goes to oversee the undead workers.
Rachelle suggests a trip tot he green room and some of the others suggest she shows the way. So the party sees the green room as their next stop.

Kalar agrees with this. "Seems as good an idea to me as any. And perhaps we might find a fourth silver key there. I will follow shortly though, I will just conclude business with Charles first, and see if he can tell me anything about the green room."

"I agree, let us be going. I shall catch up with you soon, shouldn't take more than an hour to deal with Charles."
With that, Kalar sets off to Charles to give him his books and to retrieve the sword. He also plans to talk to Hrulgin about something...
If the undead in the ghoul lands believed him to be some sort of undead, then that must mean there are werewolves who managed to overcome the limitation of death... Kalar looks at his clawed hand and thinks more to himself. Perhaps this need not be a limitation after all...

"I have no qualms against this. Ready when you all are." Lynda says to the party.

Lynda, Rachelle, and Tammytharn entrust the camp to Galse. He guards it with an iron demeanor. They climb the ladder into the black room and head towards the other door leading to the green room. They open it and see the giant with a claymore that seems to be made for a human and a giant sized sword on his hip. The giant welcomes the group, "What do you seek? I can help you with anything you need if you manage to past my test."
Hrulgin meets Kalar as he enters the chapel. The shattered wall is fixed and all the statues have returned. It was as if the party had never entered the chapel. Charles could be heard screaming in his room. "Sir, the man did not listen to what I had to say. I decided it was best to continue moving the gold and wait for you to get here," Says Hrulgin as he looks around the chapel eerily.

"Thank you sir" Tammytharn speaks up. "We are seeking a way out of this castle."
She knows that is a gross oversimplification, but the man spoke so civily, she feels they will have time for more detailed discussion later.
"What is the nature of your test?"

Galse will take this opportunity to poke around the room a bit, make things more comfortable, maybe even do some light reading. Seems like we could be here for some time.

Lynda gives a polite curtsey to the giant man.
"As my friend here has stated, we are seeking to leave this castle. As for this test, may we have the details? Is it a test of wit, strength, or something entirely different?"

Galse finds a story book about devil spirits with names that seem familiar. Gohen liked fire and Nehog liked yelling. Hazah was terribly unlucky. Orare was very strong and Eraro was very wise. They had lots of adventures together and fought werewolves.
The giant looks at Tammytharn and Lynda with a smile. "I will help you with any request, if you can manage to chop my head off with this sword," The giant said as he gestured towards the claymore.

Galse, intrigued, remembers those names being on the floor. He also at least remembers hearing of his party's recent troubles with possession. This is a most interesting book, though even Galse is smart enough to know that deals with devil spirits very rarely turn out well in the long run.

Tammytharn looks at the man with a bewildered expression that slowly melts into disgust.

Lynda looks at the giant as if she was just hit in the face with a frying pan.
"...Really?" She asks, somewhat stunned. "Well...if that's you're test, I suppose I'll abide by it."
"May I at least know your name before I attempt to...decapitate you?" She says. She then reaches to take the giants sword, and will attempt to decapitate the giant.
