A brief testimony

As none of you may know, I have, in recent time, decided to pursue a career in the Programming arts (for reasons I may reveal at some point).
In experiences past, I haven't had the best of luck learning programming languages, either due to the teacher just not being able to teach me very well, or I just plain couldn't understand why what did what.
So I took this career pathway with some slight caution, taking it easy and slow. But something I noticed: I'm having a relatively easier time with learning.
This is in part due to my teacher actually being decent at his job, but what I noticed most was that I'm picking up on things easier...due to my experiences using plotscripting with the OHRRPGCE!
Just some similarities in between things has just helped me out in understanding programming more, and I'd just like to say thank ye to James and the rest of the OHRRPGCE crew for not only making a nifty RPG engine, but for sneakily helping me understand programming better whether intentional or not.
Here's to you guys, cheers.

I actually wrote an article in the last issue of Hamsterspeak that talks a little bit about how I was able to learn more about plotscripting my studying codes, writing them myself, then taking things I learned from doing so and being able to make even more complicated scripts. Now I've started on all sorts of things that I would have had no idea how to do when I first started.

(that was just a photo I snatched from google, the real cups of cocoa I make have a lot more. I may make a cup and replace that pic if I can find my favorite cocoa cup.)
