That was a good read! Thank you for sharing that.

I am totally curious about that audiobook.

Also, everything you have said about Guacamelee really makes me want to play it. Very nice that it has a PC version.

I think the PC version includes all of the PS3 version's DLC, too. It's really the best game.

All I need to know is this:
1 - Does it have crappy motion control like skyward sword
and
2 - Does it have lame "touch screen ONLY! NO EXCEPTIONS!" controls?

It controls exactly the same as Link to the Past. You never have to touch the touch screen if you don't want to, but it makes swapping items quicker and you can place markers on your map to remember stuff for later.

Oh thank goodness.
If it weren't for them dern bills I was gonna use the paycheck I had for my spookhouse work last halloween time on the zelda 3ds and this game. Oh well, I got some sega games on steam with what I had left over after debt payments and such, so it wasn't a total loss, but still, I want to play this even more so. I'm glad they finally stopped obsessing about touch-screen madness and went back to traditional top-down zelda with buttons.

I figure as people seem to misunderstand what I say, a lot (ie the Merry Christmas thread started by SparElic), I figure I have to put in a notice about this:
I mean I'm glad that they've finally made a game in this style because it's been since Minish Cap on the GBA that they've done it.
I enjoy the 3D adventure style zelda games too, except skyward sword, that game was atrocious and I purposely forced myself to finish the game just so I can get every detail down about the stupid thing about why I hate it, even bits that I do, in fact, like, but poo covered in sprinkles is still poo.
Zelda is a generally good franchise and though the series hasn't had the best era after the gamecube and gba titles (counting Twilight Princess as a GC game), it is still rather remarkable, and at least they're finding a good balance between art and realism that the series is best in graphical design. I don't even know what I'm getting at anymore. If you misinterpret my liking of zelda games, please, tell me your issues. I can't guarantee the result, though.

I really wanted to like Minish Cap (I liked the talking bird hat) but somewhere along the way it just lost my attention. The world design just didn't do it for me. They did a really awesome job making everything work together well in LBW.

I can agree that there's just something missing to minish cap, and I'm not speaking dungeons though there's only 5 of those (6 if you count nostalgialand...er, the king's tomb, though that's a micro-dungeon really). But I really liked the game. I liked how a lot of upgrades to things were about, most of which you never need though it could come in handy.
Like the light arrow power for the bow, essentially just a piercing charge-shot, or the remote bombs so that you can detonate a bomb at your leisure (though you can only have one out as opposed to normal bombs where you are timed but can have out two, you can switch between the two versions at the guy who unlocks it).
Maybe what was "eh" about minish cap, and seriously no pun intended here, was that minish cap was too small. besides dungeon count, the overworld wasn't that large, there wasn't an enormous amount of minish areas to look around outside of town that did't involve just entering a tiny house. also the graveyard was rather insignificant besides the one instance you NEED to go there.
But still, it had one of the best amount of upgrades of any of the games, I think 9 sword techniques (it's annoying that sword upgrades are now mandatory in zelda games, but this is a good replacement) that are all rather good in their own ways....well, except the down-thrust, it's neat but pointless, really; there's, I believe, 3 upgrades to both bomb bags and arrow quiver (unless you're in europe, because for some reason they removed a bomb bag upgrade in that version), there's the magic boomerang, I think even the normal boomerang is optional, there's the mirror shield (though for some reason that's only available post-game...), the aforementioned remote bombs and light arrows, a few bottles for thy collection pleasure, a few wallet upgrades, and that's all I can say off the top of my tired skull. very few of these treasures are actually mandatory.

This game's out on just about everything that's not a Nintendo system. It's good! You should try it!

Because the 3DS couldn't come close to handling it and releasing anything not made by Nintendo on the WiiU is essentially throwing money into a fire and the original Wii has long since stopped getting new games.
