Guided by the light, the party marches forward. The cave is long and big. Easy 30ft wide as well as tall. There are a few tunnels that go off in other directions but exploring them leads to dead ends.
After a while exploring, the party comes to a chilly area. The rock here is covered in ice. It looks liked it was frozen unnaturally, and is dripping a bit in places. A short walk ahead, the tunnel opens up and reveals a horde of treasure.

The party finds:
1600 gold
12 gems
a chalice
a halberd
bracers
a vest
slippers
full plate mail
a headband
And, almost completely covered in ice, 2 dragon eggs.

Ehaism stirs the gold with his sword.

being illiterate, Ehaism is also not very good at counting... but it really doesn't look like a lot to him.

Vire wrote:Are you kidding? This is the most gold I've seen in my life!
Vire first examines then dons the vest and slippers. He also sticks the chalice on his head and ties it there with the headband before slipping the gems into his pockets. He tromps around in this ridiculous getup before taking notice of the eggs.
Vire wrote:Guys... I'm not an expert on biology, but if there's eggs, there's a mommy and a daddy, right? We should take what we can, then take our leave. Quickly.

We already killed the parent! What would any hatchlings need with BOTH a mommy and a daddy?
Ehaism's Daddy was gone long before he ever hatched. Vire's line of reasoning is a crazy as his new hat.

Ehaism surreptitiously glances into his own ragged pouch, trying to compare the number of coins he is already carrying to the amount they have just found. He feels disappointed, but he doesn't know enough math to know how disappointed he should feel.

The slippers shape themselves to fit Vire's oddly shaped feet. The icey floors were a bit hard to walk on before, but with his new slippers he's more sure footed than ever.
The vest looks very stylish and has many pockets containing picks and tools similar to those that Vire had seen the late Kytana use.
After donning his getup, Vire feels a bit smarter than normal, though he doesn't look it.

Because it is dark, Ribbon can't see the treasure she's apparently not getting a share of. But she does hear mention of the eggs

Ehaism stares at Ribbon's face for a moment. It is illuminated by the shimmering light that Vire cast onto her weapon earlier, but her eyes appear to be closed. Has she had them closed the whole way? Ehaism thinks this is funny, and decides not to say anything about it. Let her think she is still in the dark!
Ehaism wrote:That's a good idea Ribbon. I think you should sit on these eggs.... but first I think we should explore a little further.
Ehaism offers his hand to Ribbon, in case she wants help finding her way in the "dark".

Vire wrote:Hey! Stop goofing around and load up! Are we just gonna sit around admiring this loot? I can't carry it all myself!

The party, mostly Vire, loads all the loot into the wagon that's been following them. Thankfully the cave has been large enough to let the Ox through so far, hopefully this keeps up.

The party ventures deeper into the cave. After what seems like a mile, they come to another room. This one is a bit smaller than the last one. The only thing in this room are 12 large purple gems laying on the ground.

Ribbon, having been alerted to the presence of light, is nevertheless uninterested in the gems. The dragon eggs intrigue her, and she's a little interested in the headband, but desert hobos have little need for gems.

That gems can be exchanged for goods and services may occur to her soon, though.

The gem is a large purple crystal.

The gem Ehaism just picked up differs from some of the other gems in that there is a slight glow coming from the middle. 5 other gems also have this glow.

Reluctantly, Vire picks up Ehaism's stone.
