Blarg!
Ehaism charges forward with reckless abandon! His blade flies at the creature with the speed of a thousand cheetahs. It sinks into all the most critical parts of the organism and tears them asunder. ( 16 damage after DR)
The Intellect Devourer is now nothing more than a pile of brain matter on the ground.
Ehaism stands there for a while chopping the brain corpse into smaller and smaller pieces until his rage subsides. Then he scares himself thinking about how much brain blood he has splattered onto himself, worries it might be infectious, and tries to clean it off with handfuls of sand.
Vire has no attachment to the uncharismatic lump of adventurer. He does, however, want the goods that are in the cart. He calls to Ehaism, then chases after the cart. He examines the dwarf's corpse for anything that might be useful.
Just as Kytana asks about whether or not to chase the cart, Vire reaches it and start examining the dwarf's body for loot.
In his pocket Vire finds a map, one which he's seen before. It's most likely to the horde they're heading to. He also finds 2 rubies, and a potion.
Ehaism examines Ribbon. Ő is breathing heavily and Ő's wounds don't seem deep. But Ő won't wake up even after being prodded or poked.

Ehaism's shoulders slump. He is very very tired. Also confused. Ribbon appears to be passed-out drunk, and he has no idea how his sword could have done that to her.
He thinks back to before all this madness started, and remembers they were about to camp. Ehaism would like to rest... but after that brain nighmare he doesn't want to dream. He ponders for a moment whether he might be able to figure out how to make himself drunk with his sword too... but decides that kind of experimentation would be a mistake.
With out saying a word, everyone else starts getting ready to sleep.
Ribbon wakes up about an hour later, with a headache and a very dry mouth. With her charisma a 1 she blindly followed everyone back to camp and slept without giving it another thought.
The night passed uneventfully.
The sun is already high in the sky before any of you wake up. None of you feel very good. Vire's light sensitivity seems to kick into overdrive when he wakes up blind. Thankfully it wears off in a minute or two. Ribbon and Kytana's faces are both bright red with sun burn. Ehaism however, is calmly basking. Enjoying every second of the desert sun he missed during his long time in the city.
You're all parched and hungry, and generally uncomfortable. ( Except the lizardman who is only mildly thirsty. )
Ribbon opens her eyes and stares at the sun. This gives her a headache and momentarily blinds her, so she sits up and stares at the ground instead.

After a moment's pause, she wakes up enough to remember what happened. The elf and the dwarf who liked her were possessed by monsters. Both were dead.
Now she was in pain (sunburn?), dirty, thirsty, lost in the desert, and near a lizardy guy who she thinks might have stabbed her. And another lizardy guy who hates her. And....that other dude she didn't talk to much.
She spends a minute focusing her inner thoughts into finding the silver lining here.

Vire still conceals the map and has told no one about it so far.
Vire wrote:We're out of supplies. We're in the middle of nowhere. We have no idea where to go, we lost a good man getting here, and we have no reason to give you a cut even if we could find the hoard. The most significant contribution you've brought to the table has been trying to kill Ehaism before passing out last night. Here are your options: you either make yourself useful -- find us something to eat and drink -- or you make yourself scarce. Supplies as thin as they are, we don't need the burden of another mouth.
Vire addresses Ehaism in the draconic tongue. I have Gregor's map. We can't let the newcomer take our treasure.
Vire thinks aloud to no one in particular.
Vire wrote:The dwarf himself might make a decent meal, for lack of a better option...
Ribbon wrote:Pets should know their place. If you wanna be a Dragoth Downer all the time, fine.
Ribbon pauses a minute, trying to think of a good followup.
But...I won't like you very much. I don't think you care, though, seeing as you're a jerk.
Ribbon, aware of how epic a retort that wasn't, goes off to find food anyway. It occurs to her that eating is a waste of time, and considers dropping the habit.
Ehaism is yawning and stretching while he listens to the exchange.
Ehaism is about to reply to Vire in draconic, but when he sees Ribbon wandering away, he whispers in common so Kytana can hear too.
If I had known there was a map, I would have killed that dwarf a long time ago. Anyway, the crazy demon girl fights okay. Let's keep her around for fights. If she turns out to be helpful, we can give her a tiny cut of the gold, and if she gets in the way, we can kill her and eat her
and then in a normal tone of voice;
