THE CAMPAIGN: Chapter 1-"The Dragons in the Desert"

[Bob the Hamster]

Ehaism pockets the money and the gems.

He passes the jeweled rapier down to Vire. It seems a little big for him to bother carrying around when he already has a sword that he loves so much.

[Mogri]

Anything interesting up there?

Vire peers up towards the balcony, but his height disadvantage isn't doing him any favors.

[Momoka]

Echo walks up to the bartender, and takes a seat and the bar.

I am looking to eat food here. What are your options and the prices therewith?

[Spoonweaver]

Vire speaks too soon, and gets an answer in the form of a bejeweled rapier.

Echo gets an answer too, as does kytana, even though kytana didn't technically ask the question.

We've got horse shanks for 3 copper, pigs feet for 1 copper, warm mead for 2 copper, and bread and water for 1 silver.

[Bob the Hamster]

Nothing else up here but some dusty bones.

But before he climbs back down, Ehaism looks around one more time to see if that is actually true.

[Spoonweaver]

It's true.

[Bob the Hamster]

And so he climbs back down and heads for the bar, stopping along the way to see if the unconscious man has become any more interesting yet.

[Mogri]

Vire takes the rapier. How different from a dagger could it really be, right? The pointy end still goes into the other guy. Plus, it's shiny.

Vire takes notice of the unconscious man as Ehaism wanders in that direction. Vire checks the man for any interesting possessions before regrouping with the others in the bar.

[Spoonweaver]

Vire discovers that the unconcscious man, has no coin on him. ( perhaps this is why he was thrown out.) He has a wooden spoon, a shoe in his pocket, an ornate lizard figurine, and a ring on his finger.


Ehaism joins Echo and Kytana at the bar.

[Mogri]

A shoe in his... pocket? Vire examines the shoe.

[Bob the Hamster]

Do I smell roast horse shanks?

says, Ehaism, drooling.

[Spoonweaver]

Vire examines the pocket shoe. It seems to be a normal smelly shoe. It has a hole in the front.

The orge steps outside.

Leave him be kobold.

He then shuffles you inside.

All the party members are now inside the bar.

There are a few other bar patrons sitting around. There's a dwarf to your left as you enter looking at maps. There are 2 people that seem to be whispering to each other and staring at you. There are 3 hooded men sitting in the corner to your right. There's also a man sitting at the bar. The bartender looks at you as if expecting you to come and order, but not making any effort to greet you.

( Now with more defined table fixtures.)

As a seer, Echo is more used to being a plot hook than finding one, and eats the pigs feet, bread, and water he bought in as mysterious a fashion as possible, stopping every few minutes to stare meaningfully at his drink.

[Spoonweaver]

Alas, Echo has no spontaneous visions at the moment. Not even ones caused by the beer. Perhaps if he drinks more.....
