I really wish more people would take advantage of the snapshot feature...
But then again, I'm sure that everyone hates it when an opponent pauses in the middle of a battle :(

I bought a copy of this game yesterday and it won't run on my Wii because it's not connected to the internet.

You need to update your Wii before you can play SSB.

What? Your internet connection has nothing to do with anything. There's a system update required, but it's on the disc. If the disc isn't reading at all, you're not alone, and Nintendo will "clean" your Wii for free.

Are Wiis still incredibly hard to find? I've stopped searching ever since my girlfriend deposited hers in my living room, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I would otherwise be Wii-free still.

Also, I still gotta play you guys sometime.

I've actually never seen one in a physical store to this day, although I really try my best to avoid Gamestop stores at all costs. Best Buy/Circuit City still sells out right as they get them in.

I'm up for playing pretty much any time. It's probably annoying since I don't use AIM any more, but I often check here to see if anyone's playing. I think I'm the only person that regularly uses the Who's Playing feature though.

I use it whenever I'm playing something that would be applicable there, which is to say, not very often.

I think it would be a fantastic feature for a larger board. If there were more traffic, there'd be a better chance of finding the game you want. As is, I never see anyone online.

I have never been to an electronics store and NOT seen at least a few Wiis on sale. When I got mine right around launch, they had plenty in stock (day after Xmas, even). Video games must not be popular here or something.

Edit: I'm also usually up for some Brawl. Right now, for instance.

My mom got the Wii for my siblings at Costco. I don't know whether she had it on hold or something, but it doesn't seem like she had much trouble getting one.

I ordered a copy of Brawl online for $36, but then a couple of hours later, the guy canceled my order saying he sold it already at his store... This was on Amazon.

So instead I have to opt for a copy for $43 instead.

Oh, so I didn't need to wait for my nephew to bring his wireless network adapter to start playing? I wish I knew that earlier. Anyway, we've been playing it at home since Last Thursday. I unlocked Marth, Ness, and Captain Falcon; my younger brother unlocked Luigi and Falco; and my youngest brother unlocked Sonic(lucky) using Olimar( :o ). (We have house rules limiting each person to one hour of videogame time per day, and the person who unlocks a character gets to be the first to play him).

I'm the farthest through Subspace Emissary(35%). I was hindered slightly by occasionally accepting help from inept players in co-op(falling into pits and draining my lives constantly). We usually spend our turns doing Brawls.

So far my favorite characters are Marth, Pit, Pikachu, Fox, and Link. I'll probably like Toon Link more than Link once we unlock him.

I wouldn't fret about spoilers. I think everyone knows about all of the characters by now.

You don't need to hide the unlockables.

My favorite characters to play are:
Zelda
Mr. Game & Watch
Lucario
Ness
Samus/ZSS
JigglyPuff

Zelda is the only one I play competently well with, though.

2P doesn't drain lives in SSE by falling down pits.
