Great story told through this one image. Serious Iron Giant vibe. An animated version sounds awesome.

I was messing around with the perspective transformation tool and got some... interesting results. It works oddly in such low resolution, but I think for these purposes it was alright.

Here's some more artwork I've done recently, featuring the human characters of my current project Tender Caves of Death!

Have I snapped and turned my game into a generic medieval rpg (that's still full of animal people, of course)?

Hey everyone. I really need to start posting on SS more. So I gotta say...
@Idontknow, yes it's now a Medieval RPG, but who cares! That's awesome!
@Brotoad, I am loving your character designs! Those are dope AF!
@Kylecrack, love the monster! All I have to say is BIGGER and MORE!
@everyone, I just really love what you all are doing recently.

I am horrible staying on task unless I have a partner, so thank goodness for @RedMaverickZero and @The Wobbler! Thanks to you guys, Kaiju is coming along really well! Speaking of which, doing lighting is hard but really proud of how the Rome Prison is coming along so I wanted to share with everyone!

@Soda_piggy: It's good that working in a group helps you keeping on schedule. I think a lot of us have problems with that. Your work is always impressive, I must say.

@Taco Bot @kylecrack Thanks so much really glad you like it! Lots of time going in on this project.

@Nathan Karr I love it! Looks like the pixel art version of something from Five Nights at Freddy's. All your enemy sprites have a lot of character! Love the flaming skull guy too!

That's kinda the point of it, so I'm really glad to hear that! And just like my Electric Hedgehog Mouse Thing I don't quite want to cross over into copyright/trademark infringement zone, but do want to make references to memes and other media I consume.

Yeah, flaming skull guy surprised me with its quality. I just thought "I kinda want to draw a skull better than I usually do" and doodled the rest of the graphic around it. It's definitely a lot cleaner, clearer, and more even than the 160 pixel tall skeleton boss I'm using for the area (maybe I'll touch him up later).

Going with a thematically limited palette for my next project. Whatever could it be?! :zombie:
