But in practice the remapping of UI colours can make them look off enough (e.g. not enough contrast) that you'll want to adjust them
If you go to the Master Palettes menu and you have multiple master palettes imported, there are a couple options for remapping or copying without remapping UI colours between palettes, but I imagine almost noone has a use for them.

I think I'm getting good at furnishings.

Might I get some critique and tips on my walkabouts? I am very happy with my hero, enemy sprites but I'm still not sure on my walkabouts:
I can't decide whether to stick with these proportions or go with something a little more simplistic and readable, like big head style.
Regards.
Edit: Raw pixels incoming

The do look a bit spindly, but I think they look quite decent! I guess they do run the risk of seeming a bit impersonal because of the tiny heads. However if you also get to see the same characters in more detail in battle sprites or portraits I think that negates it to a good degree.
Also, I notice that the 2nd walkabout is shorter in the up direction, which looks wrong.

Thanks for pointing that out! I might experiment with some different walkabouts tomorrow, but for now it is late and I need sleep (you are also from NZ, are you not TMC?).
Adios

Really nice looking. I like your box edges and the hp and mp bars a lot.

Slice collections helped a lot, and so did the menu-action script option.

Hey!
How's this look? I spent ages on it, I'm sure you can guess what my reference was
I think it looks a lot better, and I will convert my other walkabouts to the same style now that I have a template.
Kind regards.

guo: Looks nice, I think it's a good improvement. It seems you're going for the style of exaggerating the degree to which the arms appear bigger as they get closer; not complaining, but I think you have to see it in animation to judge how well it works.
Foxley & Pheonix: Very well drawn. Interesting tiles at the bottom right there... I wonder where those will be used? The style and proportions reminds me quite a bit of BMR's tilesets...

Thanks TMC. I'm pretty happy with how it looks animated, but I'm still tweaking the odd pixel every now and then.
Pheonix, that looks great. Are you using the walktall script, as well as 3 frame animation for walkabouts?
