Foxley: I watched your whole playthrough. Thanks for you help! I learned a lot. I've written close to 50 things I want to change or add.

I sent you a PM about your $20. Who else is currently recording a playthrough?

Thanks for the hint! That corner was one of those things where in the back of my mind, I feel positive it just had a treasure chest at some point and I had already gotten it earlier. I think that's why I didn't explore it.

I got to play through and record the entirety of the first and second parts tonight. I'll try to play through the last area either Monday or Tuesday night.

I've split the videos into 12 parts, and I'm in the process of uploading them now. It'll take a while for them all to process, and it's extremely late night right now, so I'm going to bed. I'll edit the link into this post when I get up in the morning. But it's as fun as I remember it back when it was still "Void Crypt." Good job as always.

I'm curious what your next game is going to be, and whether or not you'll take topic suggestions/requests.

Kylekrack: I watched part 1 of your playthrough. I'll check out part 2 later tonight or tomorrow. Your comments were cracking me up. My girlfriend and laughed uproariously about your mention of the merchant's suggestive animation.

I noticed a few little things I would like to change.

Concerning buying the OUD from the merchant...

I'm sure you later realized, but it is difficult to grind for money in Void Pyramid. I felt bad for you when you suggested that you would grind to buy the OUD from the merchant. Although, I'm sure your stats were pretty awesome afterwards.

The OUD can be bought later at a discount (because your WITS increase) or even stolen when your AGILITY becomes high enough.

It's hard to say. I've always got ideas, but right now I'm still so invested in Void Pyramid that I'm not ready to think about the next one.

Okay, I didn't post the link this morning like I said I would. I decided to play the final part instead.

So, the playthrough is complete: 21 parts in total. I found all but one treasure, and I'm pretty sure I know where it is, and roughly how to get it, but the context is so abstract that I didn't know where to begin. You'll see what I mean when you get to that part. If I'm way off, then I'm way off.

Parts 1-13 are online now. Part 14 is in the middle of processing. The rest of them are cued up and should be online late tonight (I hate how long it takes for YouTube to process just one video, let alone 8 of them).

I wasn't sure if I would be able to come back to the area once I left so I decided to grind to try and ensure that I completed the game's content as much as possible. Inevitably I gave up on grinding and ended up buying the OUD later. The grinding did help with the enemies, though. Either way, it wasn't a big deal.

I still haven't gotten around to recording the rest of the game. I'm not sure when that'll be. This term is closing up, so I've got a lot of deadlines for a lot of things. I'll keep you posted.

There is a bug everyone seems to have found. There is a teleporter in the teleporter maze that is broken it. When your character fixes it, it is supposed to teleport you to the end of the maze. It is currently bugged and does not do that. I'll fix it in the update.

I started watching Pepsi's playthrough. I'm on part 4. I should have much more time to watch it tomorrow night.

At this point, I believe I've watched everyone's files except for Pepsi.

Please let me know if anyone else intends to do a playthrough. If you haven't already started it, I would prefer you to hold off through the weekend. I added a lot and fixed a lot and I intend to upload a new version with some new stuff implemented (although there is still much to do).

Thanks for all your help guys! The feedback is great. I think everyone should test their game like this.

I've been watching your playthrough. I'm on part 12. I've found quite a few things I want to fix. It's pretty informative listening to you talk to yourself. It's also admirable that you played 3 hours in one sitting! That's dedication! I love that!

I wonder if you ever find out what the Warp items do. They really make navigating the pyramid so much easier. Also, you still have yet to use a Radar.

Sorry it's taking so long to watch it. Your playthrough is about 2.5 times longer than everyone else's.

Glory to the Prime Pharaoh!

I released version 1.1 of Void Pyramid. There are tons of bug fixes, tweaks, and new features. If you have not started your playthrough, I advise you to download the newest version immediately.

There are now 2 additional treasures, for a total of 42! If you have already beaten the game and you are considering a second playthrough, I would hold off. Version 1.2 will be released in a couple weeks with even more stuff.

Below is a complete list of changes. It contains some minor spoilers.

*Fixed bug in Area 2 where certain NPCs could be activated through walls.
*Fixed bug in Area 2 teleporter maze. One of the teleporters did not work.
*Changed Scribe's color to make him stand out from the Area 3 floor.
*Added an extra Chest to 1st room.
*When the player dies with a Radar active, it now turns off.
*Fixed some bad wallmaps.
*The death screen now fades to black.
*Changed timing of Ibis treasure. It now is more likely to appear in Area 2 and Area 3.
*Fixed some typos and spelling mistakes.
*Made small graphical tweaks.
*Reduced the required Wits to find the Crown treasure in Area 3.
*Reduced required Agility to swim in pools in Area 3.
*Each Area now gives progessively higher Deben for the "bad" reward after battle.
*Fixed bug where Area 3 Cultists disappeared if player died while fighting them.
*Fixed bug where current Life could exceed Maximum life after using Mutation Tomb or radiation fields in Area 3.
*The Mutant can now enter the radiation field in Area 3 without being harmed.
*Added chests behind Sphinx in Area 3.
*Added collapsed wall obstacle in 1st room. It tests Agility.
*"Annihilate Chance" renamed to "Instakill Chance" in text before each battle.
*Slave now receives a special warning before opening Ragab's grave in Area 1.
*Patron deity statues for each class have been spread throughout the game.
*Hieroglyphics were added to Fool Chamber (2,4). They give the SCRIBE a clue about the IBIS treasure.
*Severed robot head in the Combat Chamber (5,7) now gives the SOLDIER a weapon.
*Strung out guard in Storage Chamber (3,9) now has a special message for the SOLDIER.
*Replaced "opposite day" puzzle with code breaking puzzle.
*Added 2 additional treasures: Love and Swatter.
*Added Khan-E: The world's most beautiful holographic woman.
*Raised the difficulty to pick the locks or bash the doors in Rainbow Chamber (5,4).

I'm sorry I'm being slow as hell on watching your videos. I'll finish them up tonight or tomorrow at the very latest.

EDIT: I'm on part 19. I noticed a lot of little things I need to fix, but here are a few sizable changes in the 3rd area that I decided to make. When I do the next update, I'll put them in (in a couple weeks probably).

*I'm going to reduce the difficulty of some of the early Area 3 the stat challenges from 40 to 30.

*I'm going to add the ability to name your character.

*I'm going to put a (small) reward under one of the mines, in case the player is OCD enough to destroy them all.

*I'm going to make the crocodiles green so they don't blend in with the floor so much.
