In addition to ongoing projects of protest, I will also add: If OHR games are ever given the ability to read text files, I hereby vow to make the first OHR Spyware. "But Giz, the OHR doesn't have the ability to transmit information!" you say. To collect my nefarious data, I'll create the most insidiously addictive puzzle scoring game of all time, and ask people to e-mail me their save game to prove the legitimacy of their skills! Little will they know I've imported every text file on their harddrive into that save! Mwahahahahaha!

The plan was actually to only allow reading/writing from files in the same folder as the game rather than go amok. If we add a command to open the file browser then that can allow opening arbitrary files. Pretty much the same as any well behaved program.

*after* plotscripting has support for data types like real strings and arrays, I would like to have a limited feature for importing and exporting data to a reload file that can be shared between saves in the same game, and *maybe* to one that can be shared between multiple games.

I guess I am open to debate about spawning a file browser and reading text files, but I would still need some convincing.

If you want to write an mp3 player, or a file browser, or some other non-game app, I don't think the ohrrpgce is going to be the right tool for the job
