What the off-center attack animations?!

Yeah, this is bugging me, and I have to bring it up, is there some way to fix off-center attack animations? It happens mostly with the larger foes, the attack animates on the lower left side, and sometimes doesn't even contact the sprite it's attacking.

Here's a video showing what I mean:
<object width="420" height="315"><param name="movie" value=" name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="420" height="315" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object>

Essentially for subject 1, the attack is off to the left a bit....it's awkward, but livable.....
But subject 2....yeah, the things aren't even TRYING to be center. It's like I shot a fireball at a wall and killed the guy behind me. It don't work. Why is there so much off-center on, seemingly, only the large sprites? My medium and small sprites are pretty much perfect. I've tried this same attack with other large characters in my game, but I didn't show them off due to spoilers and such.

And to make another animation note, it appears that in-battle the skills don't oscillate in animation when the oscillate animation is chosen. I tested with with one of my new skills as oscillation should make the one image of the skill blink twice, but it shows only once before going to the next attack. Which is also supposed to oscillate, but doesn't.

Any idea how long the attack sprite centering has been broken?

Ehhh, not really. In AR-PUH-GUH! the only large characters are a secret boss (which is a new addition, so it's not even been in very long itself) and the training dummy, so I wouldn't have noticed much then.
I've only really noticed as of Merciful Mungbeans starting when I had the basic attacks and I was attacking the one robot character as seen in this video. I paid it no real mind at the time, but it's becoming more and more apparent with these attacks I'm making. Sorry if that doesn't help much.

The oscillation thing I've sorta noticed for a while, but didn't mind too much, but it's sorta the key-element to my fire and electric magic animations for Merciful Mungbeans.
