The first part isn't too hard with swapping heroes out and locking them. The only part that gets really tricky is if you want to split their inventory.

So, due to my musical composer and co-artist being in Japan for the rest of the year, I will probably not finish Skyfall up to the point that I had planned. Rather than release something half-done, I'm jut going to save it for a later date, perhaps next summer. I'd simply rather not do work cutting content that is using placeholder graphics and bugfixing things that aren't permanent for the release. It seems counterproductive.
However, I am not abandoning Heart of the OHR. I'll have something new (and somewhat experimental...) by the deadline.
I apologize if anyone was actually excited for Skyfall. I have done the majority of the system scripting and I think that people will be happy with the game when I do finally get a new demo out.

I'm going to be doing something like this, actually. Rather than trying to work around the "everyone has the same inventory" issue, I'm flowing with it and writing it into the story. Hey, there's a new person who's never met the previous player characters before, why does the new person have all of their items? A bird swooped down and stole them all for the new person to use, of course!

Hey, man, these things happen. Maybe there'll be another HotOHR contest in two years, but even if not, you can always shoot for OHR Game of the Month/Year and get noticed if/when Hamsterspeak comes back in the future. I actually was looking forward to seeing what was going to happen next in Skyfall, maybe do a better video review / Let's Play of it than last time. I wonder what kind of mini-project you've got in store for us now?

Whether Heart of the OHR comes back in 2014 or 2015 will depend on 2012's turnout. The more people participate this year, the more likely it'll be back in 2014.
For the record.

After a long period of doing nothing with any of my game projects for the OHR I've begun working on my HotOHR2 games again. Hopefully they'll be presentable by the contest deadline.

Glad you like it, though it's the one that's already out. It was my entry in the last HotOHr contest, so you can play it already if you'd like.
Also, I noticed that the screenshot of Kinvesard I posted was pretty out of date.

Speaking of things being out, I never did finish Tim-tim the mighty gnome.

I squeezed a victory out of this one.
The lowest-level team will always just throw random ingredients together. Somehow, they ended up with the favorite dish for one of the judges. If you pull that off, you get a perfect score from that judge as well as some special dialogue.

I love the Zelda-perspective maptiles in the Kinvesard screenshot.
Also, Go Team Food!

She's doing some of the graphics for the game and dislikes the conflicts of the perspective.
Oh: and to not be off topic I'll post another screenshot.

Well, I still like how it looks. In that battle screenshot I'm happy to get a closer look at the player characters. Is the main hero a merman? That's pretty neat.
What are they fighting?
I cannot see anything!
Please apply some contrast.

There isn't a main hero.
Bats!
Is anyone else having that problem with the Screenshot, or is it just him?
