Four Days of Halloween

Impromptu contest, starting now. No rules. No prizes. Just glory and a deadline: November 1st (time doesn't matter).

Sorry, one rule:

1. Make it fun (and try to keep it holiday-centric, but it's okay if it goes off the rails a little, or goes onto another holiday entirely...do what you want with it).

Any questions? I'm sure the answer is "yes."

And...go!

EDIT: For those who are busy this weekend, you can have until the 3rd to submit and still be in the running. Those who release on the 1st will have a bonus point in the votes to offset procrastination, however.

I love the description, "glory and a deadline." I've been wanting to participate in a contest, but this is a terrible week for me (midterms/Halloween parties!). Next time I guess...

I should have remembered that I never have the energy to do anything right after finishing another contest game. I didn't have any plans, or even very good ideas, going into this. Unlike some other contests, there's no game I've always kinda wanted to make that was waiting for an appropriately themed contest to come around.

In short, I think I'll have to drop out.

I'm in unless it's in bad taste. It's kinda dress-up ish. Maybe sorta. In a fantasy way.

I don't want to bomb this impromptu event though-- wait, no prizes? Gosh, I don't know... I'll leave it up to the host's discretion.

Well, the rule is to have fun with it. I'm treating it less like a contest and more like an excuse for the community to release some similarly themed games at about the same time as one another. I probably won't even have a vote unless more than three people post something between now and November 3rd that they made specifically for this event.

So, don't worry about whether it "fits the contest." I'm sure it'll be fine.
