Just realized that this resembles the "Octomamm" fight from Final Fantasy IV. Looks awesome!

Vampires shouldn't sparkle.

Well, at least I made him ugly.

A hobo, a potato with an axe, and the return of Harpoon? I expect great things from this game of yours, Surlaw.

Pokemon Beige. I might be serious about this game.
Keyword "Might". It could die in about an hour, or less. Or, it could survive.
What do you think?

I'll try to pull off the Pokemon game. I have some absolutely fantastic Pokemon Center and Shop map tiles, not to mention a pokeball sprite that looks fantastic, and much more.

Searching online, finding sprites, and looking off of those really helps. :3

may I recommend making one, probably a remake of the original three (er, four if you count the Japanese Pkmn Green) Pokemon games?

Simpler coding and plot behind it. Start off simple, build upon it.

A remake? No way! I want this game to have a different-ish plot...I don't want it to be a clone.

I've run into a snag...I don't know how I should make the trainer sprites.

lemme rephrase that. a remake of the STYLE of gameplay the originals had. Give it an original story, but keep it simple like the originals.

As for trainer sprites, use some visual reference! there's plenty.

Ah, keep it simple.
Well, the scripting won't be simple...

I want Pokemon to actually level up with certain levels.

And as for trainer sprites, visual reference is sort of difficult, but i'll try. Once you have one, you have them ALL.

EDIT: I did it! I modeled my trainers after the Pokemon Emerald Main Trainer. I don't discriminate, so I have both genders available.

You're making two versions, right? Pokemon Beige and Pokemon Tan? Pokemon Khaki? Pokemon Ecru?
