Imagine, if you will, the world of 26XX. After the requisite genetic engineering and atomic disasters, the world is really, really, messed up.
It is up to the missionary Paul Rowanoak to convert a particular tribe of heathens to the Church.
Also, there's an optional love-story between Paul and one of the natives.
