Tragedy! A couple days ago I returned home to find my computer not working. After trying to turn it on for a while and then opening it up to see what was wrong I finally discovered that my cat had chewed the power cord enough to make it unusable (bad kitty). It wasn't until I got a new cord today t...

I'm against something like this. I personally love the feel of the old dos editor. It's one of the reasons I use OHR instead of something else. But most of all, I'm against something like this because it's a big project that won't help the OHR do something it can't already do. I'd rather Dev's spend...

I'm beginning to think that less time for this sort of contest would have been better. Next time I plan to have everyone meet up in the IRC where I'll assign teams. This way they'll have their first meeting right then and there. Then I'll only give them 1 month to make their game. Otherwise, they'll...

Actually yes, it was ctrl-alt-delete that they used to get out of the game with.
I just remembering being a bit embarrassed that they had to do it that way.

So, 1 person entered the last mini contest. That's disappointing. hmmm... A lot of the people in this contest don't seem to be paying attention to these mini contests. I think I'm done doing them. I'm sorry to charbile who entered this mini contest, but without another entry I'd feel silly sending o...

Hurrah! Don't forget to fix Esc either instantly quitting, or not quitting at all. And did you ever manage to fix the wall glitches in the SS101 scripts? I can't remember. Well, I'm pretty sure all the wall glitches in Tim-Tim are already worked out. If any can find any at all in the current editio...

Spoonweaver's Retrospective: Deforestation The idea for deforestation was basically to make the shortest simplest ohr movie I could make, just to get my foot in the door of the contest. Then, see how much I could boost it's final rank by hype alone. I started out with the idea to just make a movie ...

Still no results?! You don't even have to wait for votes! I knew this was a farce of a contest. I'm glad I ended up not entering.

LOL :v:

Is mega tact not dead?

I'd love to see that thing up in working order. I had a bunch of fun with it until bugs overwhelmed most of my games and they stopped getting fixed.

Impressive. I too am feeling the strain of having a job and a hobby. I haven't done anything in so long I almost feel like I've forgotten how to make games. As such, instead of working on a new project that would take forever, or simply plugging along at Legendary Heroes even though I've been gettin...

When you say "suspend npc" do you mean the script term? If so that's not what that does.

Anyways, what you should do is just have the first textbox turn the npc off. This is just the way you have to do it. Something takes place during battles that makes these sorts of things a bit screwy.

I could script something like that. However, seeing as it's not an OHR game, I might not know the language you're using.

It should be posted in the colab contest journal thread, and should be posted between now and the 20th. The winners of this mini...
