Glad to see this split into a separate thread. I am glad that the OHR community has a healthy disdain for ripping without permission, but it is pretty puzzling that re-using resources with explicit permission sometimes produces the same negative response. I think most of the time it had to do with ...

The kobold looks concerned as the party talk to it, though it lowers it's guard a bit. It almost seems to instantly react to Vire, but then holds back and seems to think to itself for a moment. Then, in common, it says: There is a toll to pass through our lair, 1 g.. 10gold per person. Also, we do n...

Looks good BMR And yes I fast forwarded a bit. I felt you were still brainstorming a bit, but I came to the conclusion that you might be brainstorming for quite a while if I just let it be until someone stood up and left in character. illuminating the area and giving his low-light vision some light ...

Though not necessarily a combat, I figured mapping things out might be helpful, plus I still hadn't made a single map thus far.

With a plan in mind, the group set out toward the underground kobold lair. Stopping a few hundred feet short of the entrance to the lair, the group chose a spot to dig their skyward hole. Out came the Lyre of Building and it's magical strings where plucked. Beautiful music filled the cavern and illu...

especially 8bit who shouldn't be so aggressive That's an ill-considered facetious comment Yes. It's aggressive to disagree by framing one's argument against them. Kumbaya, everybody! But you haven't succeeded in doing that. All you did was mis-interpret my statement, and rather than go back and rev...

Ah yes, the cliff sides could stand to be darker than the ground tiles the player can walk on, though I think any sort of shading due to the bridge would be unnecessary.

There's no need to move this to a different thread, unless people are going to start offering help to Willy. If anything this discussion is just keeping Willy's thread active thus given him more of a chance to be noticed by someone who'll potentially help him. As far as ripping goes, I may have used...

Ok, so the current plan is digging straight up into the house from underneath, before entering kobold territory.
I'm just not sure what to say without spoiling. I almost feel like saying that is spoiling actually. Oh well.
Anyways, I'll go ahead with you guys enacting that plan.

[s]Dear god, why would you make it diagonally in a game where you can only walk in straight lines?[/s]

Wow, that looks really cool.

Poor guy asks for someone to help him with music and is answered by people debating the value of originality. But since the topic intrigues me I'm going to join in. There's really no question whether original music would be better to do than ripped music. This goes for graphics too. Basically, anyon...

Glad you like it, though it's the one that's already out. It was my entry in the last HotOHr contest, so you can play it already if you'd like.
Also, I noticed that the screenshot of Kinvesard I posted was pretty out of date.

I had actually thought you were power gaming a bit with the alter self thing on a tiefling. It makes the spell 100 times more powerful when you can actually use it to make you fly, burrow, have a climbing speed, increase your natural armor, and gain a bite attack. Normally it just allows you to look...

After a long period of doing nothing with any of my game projects for the OHR I've begun working on my HotOHR2 games again. Hopefully they'll be presentable by the contest deadline.
