Hrulgin explained to Kalar that Vyones had been setting up defenses for the whole time they were gone. He'd been unable to get too close to the city. With that, the party left the tower. None of the wraiths bothered them, or even appeared, on their way out. They met Lynda outside and she was overjoyed to see her stuff back.

But Kalar could see no wraiths. The Hound Archon had finished off the ones remaining in the secret room, and the other weren't showing themselves. The faint moans of the wraiths were the only thing that let the party know that they were still around somewhere.

The hound archon easily handed all the items back through the hole. Then it looked at the wraiths and looked back at Tammytharn expectingly.

Tammytharn looks in to see two wraiths starring at the hole in awe. The ambient light of the room reveals Lynda's things directly below the hole. Tammytharn can tell that she won't be able to get at the stuff without crawling through the hole first.

As Voulton shakes his fist, the shrieks and cries of wraiths can be heard coming from withing the room. Tammytharn is almost certain the shrieks were due to her turning and not Voulton's fist shaking. But you never know. No more wraiths could be seen flying around in the secret room then.

Lynda stays behind with the baby as The others enter the tower. They don't see any wraiths on the stairs. A bit of searching is done on the way up but it doesn't turn up any secret passages. The party arrives in the throne room and can see the wraiths moving around int he room through Lynda's hole.

Mid-day turned to late afternoon as the party stood outside the tower debating what to do. No one was too thrilled with the idea of entering a tower full of wraiths, but they all knew someone would have to go in there if they were going to get the Sword of Sylaire.
