It's been a week now. Still stuck in the desert. STILL. Having access to some sort of minimap would definitely help out. The best that I can figure out is that it's at least 300 x 100 tiles, with very few landmarks scattered around it. If you go directly west of your starting position you'll find a ...

I'd like to take part in this contest! :) By the way, I don't know much about contest, and how it works in this community: How many contest are there once a year? I've read about haert of the OHR and Terrible Games Contest. They are all held on different times in the year? By reading fenrirs post, ...

I'm game, so long as it doesn't interfere with the Terrible Games Contest. It won't :hurr: Incidentally, April 1st through 30th as usual. Didn't have it this year on account of SOMEBODY jumping the shark and hosting their own contest during the same time slot. I didn't want to spoil the fun of the ...

My party's the same as NCW64's group, and I can easily say this party will probably take me through the game with little to no hassles. Since my observations on this game are limited to the first hour of so of playtime, I can safely say that Spellshard follows the "NES hard" theory of game...

I just realized those are male and female versions of elves and dwarves. And I just took a second look to confirm that there's no real difference in the dwarves.

Well done? :???:

I've got a three-step program for overcoming problems like this . 1) Be a pirate 2) Learn Japanese 3) Join a fan translation team and work to bring great games and happiness to everyone SaGa 3 DS. My favorite Gameboy game ever. To hell with pokemon, THIS game was what got me hooked on RPGs. And the...

But the purpose of ALL Tranformers media is NOT to entertain, but to sell toys. Optimus Prime gets his trailer finally. Why? Because the inside of it is filled with all kinds of nifty gizmos he can use to further increase his fighting prowess. Why does he go back to it for his flight upgrades? Not b...

If my research is correct, there was some sort of rudimentary OHR "meetup" a few years back?

The only two I've had actual time to play are Monster Lot and Triangle. I've been busy the last month selling-artwork/making-money/lifting-myself-out-of-poverty/in-a-place-with-sporadic-internet. Consequently the following votes will be horribly skewed. Monster Lot 3/3/3 Triangle 3/1/1 In unrelated ...

Then there could be a page of the wiki where Bob recommends some other "classic" OHR games, but these would clearly be the fleet BEHIND the Wandering Hamster flagship. I agree on this in principle, but then again it runs the risk of one person (or a small handful) essentially telling peop...

In case you haven't noticed, I've not really been "active" for the last several months. Real life, etc. *cough* If James ever completes Wandering Hamster, I'll gladly back Vikings being de-listed as the "flagship" OHR title. Heck, if he can actually get to the point where all you...

Is there a way to force the engine to display elemental weakness/resist/absorb the way it used to without indicating percentage numbers? Vikings and Sword of Jade's status screens now look absolutely wonky with this new percentage silliness. :o

Furry this sexy that I'm pretty sure at this point that Fenrir's doing this on purpose. People are talking about the magazine. If nothing else, it's provoked a serious discussion about the magazine's content and other submissions. How many times have previous issues gotten comments to the second pa...
