"Careful now, this is nothing I don't already see most moments of my miserable noons, and I'm the most liable to be stepped on, hoho," he jests, deciding to continue the best he can by being patient with the crowding traffic- he doesn't see much reason to stop yet until he comes across an...

I thought we all got pamphlets. If not, I'll specify I picked mine up.

Normin allows himself to be part of a less outgoing and excitable second group as they leave, and still has one of the fire resistant cloaks in possession.

Meanwhile, Big Hat Normin elects to leave the debate of responsibility to others- he had already made his decision, and the others are far more demanding or controlling; that and he is not the most sociable sort. The artifact itself is interesting. It circumvents the magical laws set in place that d...

"I'll be the next to say I've no interest in stealing mystic trinkets for myself," he informs, much more curtly and with far less elegance, "I've not the fingers for it, I've a rusted tongue ill fit to barter it away, and I deem the curse of men chasing me afoul heavier than its rewa...

Normin chimes in, "If they see fit to waste their lives, let them." He butts his staff against the floor once, "We're all volunteers in the end, hmmhm."

Normin nods solemnly, his large hat covering him tilting in tandem, then respectfully returns the bucket. He isn't what he used to be, and may have been able to discern the origins of the power once upon a time, but he fails himself in his bitter forgotten abilities this time. He knows for certain t...

"Excuse me, may I be allowed to examine one of the pails?"

If allowed to, he will touch the bucket he determined had trans-mutative properties and will cast Identify as a ritual spell to determine its use.

I like to poke fun of how realistic D&D's economics are until you need to buy some serious non-mundane supplies. :v:

And just moments before where Normin seemed skeptical of the powers of the buckets, on a dime, he is suddenly sure of it, "You've yet to tell us the power the pails hold. I wish to inquire how exactly they interact with the spellwater." Five gold.. That is a large sum for a commoner, but a...

I just now realized that the pamphlet has the spell. It's probably homebrew'd so that we all can use it, but what I meant was that I don't recall seeing it on non-Cleric spell lists (unless it's a Cleric derivative class).

"That spell, I see. Disappointing, let us hope this fourth bucket is a powerful magical item, otherwise we are still poorly equipped."

He will do a ritual casting of detect magic to see if any of the buckets ping as a magical device.

Based on previous versions of D&D/Pathfinder I believe create water is a cleric thing, yes. Druid probably has some higher level spells that would be better suited to quelling fires since they get a lot of weather-based spells and elemental summons.

Normin's attention is brought to the nearby crate with the peculiar language. His best guess, the proper nouns surrounding the known Elvish script are names beholden to the village's ego and carry a refusal to be presented outside of their insular writing. Such are the ways of dying cultures, he sup...
