There were plenty of DBZ games around the turn of the millenium. Pick one!

I nominate you make it a wacky 1v1 Tournament with RPG mechanics, which will be A) Way easier to accomplish programming wise B) Way easier to accomplish graphics wise and C) More fitting to all of the characters involved. I'm also follow Surlaw's example by pre-emptively un-nominating anything I've ...

One thing I am curious about with regards to the vaporization behavior, is how does that work with waits and whatnot. It looks in the slice editor that there is stuff happening way quicker than 18.5 times a second? Will it pause for a second if there's a wait or what? I don't exactly know what I'm a...

Crash Bug in Nightly

Downloaded the latest nightly (20141029) to try to use the new slice melty stuff to do an acid trip simulator and stumbled on a crash. I imagine it's probably a divide by zero issue, though that's mere speculation. To replicate: 1. Open the slice collection editor. 2. Create a new sprite slice. I us...

In addition to ongoing projects of protest, I will also add: If OHR games are ever given the ability to read text files, I hereby vow to make the first OHR Spyware. "But Giz, the OHR doesn't have the ability to transmit information!" you say. To collect my nefarious data, I'll create the m...

Can not strings and slices already be saved? Can not a string be nearly infinite in its length? Can these facts not already be combined to export/import text? As the only OHR Developer to TWICE make a word processing program, I call talk of this new feature frivolous. And I intend to prove it.

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you'd want, but couldn't you just make it so each menu option had a tag that ensured it was never "Enabled"? They'd still be able to move the menu selector up and down, but they wouldn't be able to do anything, just hit escape to go back. Would save you...

I'm actually entering another Halloween contest at the moment, and I'm using Twine to make that game. Could I enter it here? It would be exported as html, so you wouldn't have to download any scary files. :) It's okay, I'm still trying to figure out how to put pygame stuff into an exe. But if you w...

I'd never ask someone to download and run a strange program just because some idiot on a forum swears that it's a game and not a botnet. I'm sure there's slime someone could do to an RPG file, but I honestly feel safer with an OHR Game than some random executable. For that reason, I'd like to keep t...

My intention was always to get scary games out of it. As far as I can remember, I've always included scariness in the judging for that reason. In practice, we do tend to get Halloween-themed, spooky-fun stuff and that's great, I have no problem with it. I just always wanted somethin scarier. There w...

Not to instantly jump in with a million requests, but it'd be cool to get some choice in how the animations play out too. Choosing which corner it should diagonally vanish from, whether it should crossfade from the bottom-up or the top-down, things like that.
