Addendum: I have bypassed the swearing filter in this review because it insensitively assumes that g ay is an insult. I don't think anyone identifies their sexual orientation as slimetastic. There's nothing wrong with that word and it's childish to block it that way. If you don't like it, you can go...

If I get killed by the tumblr brigade, it's been nice knowing you..

Samanthuel's Lovely Home has been judged!

EDIT: Next one's OkeDoke, so don't assume I got killed by tumblr too quickly.

2014 In Review: Samanthuel's Lovely Home

This is not at all what I expected from the author of Megaman Sprite Game. Instead of a jokey romp, we have a very introspective, psychological exploration of the author's ideal existence. Apparently, he's a dude named Samuel who wishes she was a lady named Samantha, and smushes that together into S...

Galse will remain in his role as rear-guard, standing outside the door of the church and keeping an eye on everyone, occasionally taking a look at the surrounding wilderness for any possible ambushes. A little religion never hurt anyone, but it's not right to poke around when there's nobody around ...

Got lucky and drew the compilation games. Nice break from real reviewing. Here's my thoughts on the field: Elephants Most Wanted Animated backgrounds were nice, battles weren't too badly paced. Goofy game, typical first time stuff. Fart: Does NOT include game.exe, claims it requires "The latest...

2014 In Review: SpyGame

This is a story-driven game and so this review is going to be spoilery. Another one of those wacky Random Collab team-ups, SpyGame is the brainchild of marionline and RMSephy. You're a shape-shifting alien? Human spy from a space station? I forget if the game tells you. Your mission is to infiltrat...

2014 In Review: Zero: Secret Pasts Collide

NOTE: Due to forewarning by fellow reviewers that this game extensively features midis, and having some bad experiences with CTDs involving midis, I stripped the midis from this game a little bit into my playthrough. This means I'm unable to judge the music on its use in context, but what I heard w...

2014 in Review: James Doppler's Epic Sci-Fi etc.

I gave this game a hard time about it's long title, but it actually makes a little sense in the context of the game. The story, what little there is, seems to be about an upcoming war between Sci-Fi fans and Fantasy fans. Our hero, James Doppler, supports the middle ground of Sci-Fi Fantasy. It remi...

2014 In Review: Dugeon Cards, Flying City!

Dungeon Cards: The Flying City was SDHawk and Ichiro's entry into the random collab contest and they made a pretty good team. I'm pretty sure that they updated the game after the contest, because I don't remember it being so good the last time I played. Major points for supporting your product even ...

Galse scratches his head. That wasn't exactly what he thought would happen, but praise is praise. Better just go with it. He gives whatever's left of the squirrel a tough-guy nod. Didn't think it'd end that way for you, but at least you died well fed.

2014 In Review: T4R4D1DDL3 - Taradiddle? WTF

I have no idea what superawesomeric was going for. Even the title of this one is mysterious. The graphics and music are beautiful, it's really quite an experience. It's worth taking a look at just for curiosity's sake, I hate to compare it to drugs, but LSD Simulator is the most fitting description....

I'm killing myself for not making a "Blue Bomber" joke about the airplane scene in this game, but oh well! Megaman Sprite Game is reviewed! EDIT: This is a game I don't get at all. Are you supposed to talk to the surroundings and ignore the people? Are you supposed to dress a certain way? ...

2014 In Review: Megaman Sprite Game

My first choice was 60 megabytes so I skipped ahead to this, figuring it'd be a short, stupid joke thing. TOTALLY WRONG! It is a long, stupid joke thing with a lot of love runnin through it's veins. There was one moment, about a third of the way through, where I lost faith and almost gave up, but I'...

2014 In Review Random Review Picker

Sorry for the goofy naming scheme on these! In case you're confused, it's 2015 and this is the picker for 2014's games! This year's installment loses a lot of the thrills and chills of previous installments to meet deadline and get to the reviewing faster. However, I assure you it is just as random ...
