Winged Realm is reviewed! Wish I hadn't screwed up so much on this one, but I guess it saves me the disappointment of the inevitable End of Demo.

Three games left, by my figuring! Two of which are HOTOHR, I believe. Gonna be tight getting my votes in.

EDIT: Troll Over done too.

2014 In Review: Winged Realm

Winged Realm's creator (A dude named Feenicks) is always sharing screenshots of his progress, so this is a game I've been looking forward to. I knew that it was going to be old-school 8-Bit, but I didn't realize how much that was going to translate into the game mechanics. You have to look for oddly...

Galse is more worried about what weird effects this place is having on people's minds than Kalar's briefing, but what he hears of it sounds good.

I would imagine it's working as intended, because they're transmogrifying into an untargetable form: IE, they're not actually dying? There might be a bitset or something to give rewards for stuff that respawns on death, but I think the idea is like... if you have a slime enemy that only "dies&q...

Dragons! Is reviewed! For a game called Dragons! I only saw one. Got a really bad headache from this one. I forgot to mention it in the review, but the music was pretty good... until I had to listen to the same two songs OVER AND OVER for two frickin hours! The second dungeon had its own music and ...

2014 In Review: Dragons!

Ohhhhhh boy. I've been super curious about this game since its release. The author chose to release his game as a Microsoft Installer rather than the more traditional zip with a game in it. To me, that's fishy, especially for a file that's 111 megs. I know we talked about it in IRC, and I'm pretty s...

Galse will bring the serpent staff to the rest of the party for examination, but doesn't have any overwhelming desire to hold onto it personally. And to Lynda he says "She was just a scared woman, rightly so. Couldn't you have subdued her without slitting her throat?"

Galse checks Madeline, on the off-chance that the party could revive her again... third time's the charm, right? There's a definite sadness to all of this. These "monsters" are people just like us, trapped in whatever this place is, doing what they have to do to survive. Simon may've been...
